The fact that Jiana is the main vocalist, but she sounds so good as a rapper, also she already wrote 4 songs on their album alongside with Sunhye and Yeonjung??!% Macaroni Cheese, Posse Up, Scars and Roty. This group is too talented

i become Jiana stan bcs of her rap in Posse Up but then i check the group biography and she is the Main Vocalist?!! WHAATT??!!
Best part is she didn't start rapping until 2 months before writing that. So shes been training to sing and dance for years, but shes completely new to rapping.
These young girls are serving hip hop like no other let’s give them love and support they not chasing trends and copying like them other big groups from big labels less go YP

I think for the ending they meant that they are giving us their all but since theyre not popular they are getting overshadowed by popular groups doing the most basic thing (probably a reference to some groups from big labels doing the most basic kpop music) that no matter how much they've put in their own work its just not getting them the recognition and fame they work hard for
thats because kpoppies / kboos / knetz stan and worship the big 3 kpop labels. those big 3 labels could drop piles of trash and label stans will still call it SOTY 10/10 and give it 1000000000000000 views. Thats why the "truly" talented groups like YPosse, XG, Kiss of Life, Purple Kiss, etc., etc have to work 1000x harder. Look at VCHA. Just because they are JYP they get all that attention and all those views. Are they more talented? Uhhhh no not even close. But thats how K-pop works its rly sad
@@kingbyouchoob2488 this is 100% facts. The most talented groups like you mentioned have to work so much harder to get noticed and views and streams. While some new basic generic kpop group from the "BIG 3" can do the bare minimum and get 100 million views and streams. K-pop is really pathetic like that. Thats why i admire a group like XG so much. They just said f it went for it and have achieved global recognition and admiration. Look how talented Purple Kiss is. But a group like VCHA who just came out has WAY more #s than them but is not anywhere close in terms of talent. K-pop fans workship the big 3 K-pop labels.

As a Korean, I translate and leave an opinion. The meaning of the last scene tells us that a lot of the public is only loving the typical kpop-style group. K-pop girl groups need to be pretty and have a beautiful song Because it was popular with people. Groups like BLACKPINK can be an exception. Young Posse is not a typical K-pop group's music, but it is doing its own hip-hop music, and it is not yet very popular with people. And even though young posse's company is said to be at a low level, that's not true. In the last 10 years or more, they have created many successful idol groups in Asia such as Korea and Japan.
6:55 they're a lower level group, by a lower level company with a concept Not too many people care for, but they'll get there and as Fun and ridiculous as this video was it won't take long.

Okay left to right, we have Jiana she’s 18 and the Main Vocalist although with her first part with the popping, she could be another rapper I thiiiiiink she may be my bias.
Then we have our leader, miss Sunhye. She’ll be 20 this year and she’s the main rapper aswell. She also wrote their first title track MACARONI CHEESE. If you told me one day I’d be listening to a song about macaroni cheese on repeat I’d call you crazy af AND YET I AM?!?!
Okay next we have Yeonjung. She’s a rapper and main dancer. She’ll also be 20 this year.
Then there’s Doeun, she’s 17 this year and is a vocalist and rapper.
Last but not least, baby Jieun! She’s 14!!! Will be 15 this November. She’s the maknae of the group and is a vocalist and dancer.
TBH I feel like ALL of them are rappers. I love this group a LOT. They’re so different. I recently watched them participate in a random kpop dance event and really fell more in love with them.
Edit; I need to correct myself. I think they’re all aces. They can all sing, all dance, all rap. They honestly have it all ngl
Macaroni Cheese next but you honestly just need to react to every one of their songs. They really give me XG vibes in the sense that it’s so new, so fresh, so HipHop and R&B influenced and EVERY SONG IS DIFFERENT. I’m living for it!

Red and Meth need to get on the remix, this beat is right up they alley, as far as the mv goes, it's basically showing how the kpop industry is. They are a hip hop group which the kpop industry doesn't care for, because they don't fit the typical "idol" aesthetic. They strive to become rookies of the year but get a lot of hate for not being typical idols and no one cares to notice them. Hence why you see all the angry emoji's and the girl at the end telling them to move cause she is trying to see the "popular" kpop idols perform. That's how i interpreted the MV

Homegirls flow at the 4:28 mark was FIRE!! There was a hip hop group back in the day called Pharcyde, the vibe reminds me of them so much!
That ending was mad impactful! Given that they are from a smaller company, DSP MEDIA, the meaning is obvious right? They don't have the budget or exposure of some of these other groups but that don't mean the music ain't slappin'.
Check out their label mates KARD - same setup but tropical kinda South American vibe versus straight hip hop. But yo this was FIRE - Young Posse has my complete attention!!

That beat is 🔥. Reminds me of Cypress Hill. The swith ups were dope too. All I know is they are fairly new. I haven't heard too much but "Posse Up" is dope caught my attention because Token is ft on it. I think at the end they are pointing out how they get over looked, maybe because of their style being so different from traditional KPOP.

Your Macaroni Burger remark - Macaroni Cheese was their debut track, exactly half a year before this ... and it was directed by the same guy who directed XXL.
Final scene - AFAIK the one in the background is just a "generic" pop girl group ... but YP know that they are just rookies ... of course they want to make it big (XXL big), but aren't there yet; so, a bit of self-depreciating humor in the end. What they already are, is hilariously funny.
Young Posse Up (remix version) was the track that really got me on Young Posse's track, back in February.
But don't let the fun MVs fool you ... Young Posse also released some live performances and choreographies, and I think that they have some serious swag and stage presence, especially considering that some of them are still really young.
It's 90s hip hop, nuff said
