Bridgey a mate of mine.......reminded me of this classic one when he said he had recently bought it for 340quid! and it should definitely be played more often .Thanks for the post and the memories Dave from York formerly Burnley.
I had to hear this after seeing that label. It's actually pretty catchy, though I'd never heard of it until today. It might have been a local hit somewhere in the USA, so it didn't make it into the nationally syndicated "oldies" formats. I used to have to paste together those "severed head collages" for the weekly ads when I worked at a movie theater. They were fairly common back in the 1960s, but they look hilarious today, especially on a record label. I wonder if they were really the band members.
@@martynpitt1640 Yeah, it is a continuation, but IIRC it doesn't go in the direction you would expect with the guitar solo being extended. I am sure they did a long version live that would blow us away, but no recordings of that, or anything else by them has surfaced.
A fantastic track ! Brilliant ! The rest ? Pity you couldnt put them in to separate folders ? N/S SOUL SOUL SLOWIES AND AOS. I've watched the lot ! Thank you for posting ? But for the viewer it could of been better ! Thank You anyway well done . KTF.
1950's Song's, I have a playlist I think you might enjoy. It's varied, lost treasures & not heard hidden gems, all styles. Past & present. Songs added daily. I hope YOU & all music lovers enjoy! :) ua-cam.com/play/PL240940E21E6C83E3.html
+Steven Stewardson Even tho I never really liked the WG I still had a stroll down there from the Pier most of the time. Always loved Cleggy. Felt comfortable there. We had a good crew, our own style.dance,sounds. And still broke some good tunes. Got bloody choppy sometimes but always got tingles waiting to go in hearing all that leather thumping on that amazing dancefloor. Closed down far too soon.
Keb Darge play at Stafford. He closed with this record, to round off his fantastic "Stafford, class of '83" set yesterday, at the Prestatyn weekender.
Here from Cornwall a brilliant track 100 club classic ✊✊✊✊🏴☠️🏴☠️
Got it all - garage band fuzz, spector echo, headspinning riff...let it rip !
Fave Keb spin at the Oddfellows last Sunday.........stormer, packed dance floor!!!!

Love dancing to this 👌👌👌
Apparently they're a 10 piece band & the label managed to put on all their faces.

Forefathers of Latino rock era! Great sounds! These cats still prowling around. You can catch them at local gigs here in L.A.
I had an idea this was '60s SoCal Chicano Soul based on the look of the players and the sound. This song is groovy.

Did you send him the youtube link to this song, or the actual record itself. The record, if you can ever find a copy, is worth $1000.
Hope he sent it back
