I'm new to crochet, and I did not understand how people could own so much yarn. After going to Michael's to buy yarn for a project I completely understand. There are so many colors. I want all of the yarn.

This was a great day! Technically, you had a bookcase that was held hostage in the closet, so you NEEDED to get more yarn to set her free to live the life she was meant to live. She looks so much happier in the room and full of new yarn!!!❤❤❤
OMG YES!! (About the white). I thought it was just me, but its actually pretty weird that its both thinner and falls apart easier! 🤨🤔
Yes super strange! And the fact that it happens with every chenille yarn!
This makes sense to me if they are using bleach to make the white yarn- it would start to eat away at the fibers I imagine. I haven't noticed that with the lion brand nap time yarn though.

@wondercrochet bernant blanket white yarn doesnt fall apart, it is very soft, and it doesn't smell. So that might work better
Girl same. Baby Snuggles or Toucan in a creame or off white is always a better choice for me

For white, i had problem with other but when i tried wolans yarn… ITS SO GOOD, its turkish brand and its so soft and there is no difference between other colors
Yes. I've hated white yarn(besides blanket yarn) since a little after I started using it. I thought maybe it was just me having bad luck and never getting good yarn so I stopped using it and use cream for everything instead. It's a lot better on the eyes under some lights at markets too

Oh my gosh why is that so true about the white yarn! Even the texture is different. It's more rough in my experience and I use premier chenille and sweet snuggles lite!

Love, love your room. So feminine and pretty. Your new giraffe is adorable! I’ve heard the love and hate sides of the Toucan yarn. Heard it’s horrible to Frog. Now that Parfait Chunky has changed so much and is horrible, I’m lost as to what to try next that is similar and affordable! 🦋💖🦋💖

I love Hobbi Toucan yarn, it’s my favorite plush right now! I like it better than Big Twist Posh that use to be my favorite.

Hi Alisson, I haven't used any Hobbii yarn but the white in Premier's Parfait chunky is the worst. One of the skeins I couldn't even use, it kept falling apart in the middle of crocheting but the other colors didn't seem as bad. Your craft room looks great!!
I agree. There is something different about the white in Premier Parfait.

I haven’t noticed a size difference, I’ve used them interchangeably in plushies!
