Lol marten almost got penetrated by the traktor at 02:56
It cuts so fast we barely saw it!
Probably the best pun ever.
Never saw this joke comming
But can it baton ? We must know! And what about the tip test?
Jk great video again, you come up with some crazy ideas
Robin Pohl more importantly, will it blend?
@@osu45d MORE importantly, will it keel?
Feathersticking!
I noticed when sawing big logs, you're avoiding the edge of the saw that has the largest teeth. You might have faster results if you use all the blade.
i didn't think you guys could top your other videos but you just did
awesome work
you guys are definitely the number one channel on UA-cam
and after watching your videos on the other silky saws i now have the katanaboy 500 mm and the silky gomboy 270
i only buys stuff you guys have reviewed
Gotta use that saw in a Cooking in the Wild episode ;)
its a nice saw to cut up some winter penis most definitely!
Damn you guys for getting that song stuck in my head again! Great review on the silky beast.
Gray Man Outdoors ii
I loved the skyrim belathor shop reference
Fun video, very entertaining well done guys!
Thanks a lot my friend! Your video about the katanaboy was a good inspiration! This saw is a monster.
Hi, greetings from a fellow Dutchman. I like Silky saws, especially the Hayauchi pole saws. I never tried a KatanaBoy but now I feel like I´ll have to. Though I guess for me the 500 will be big enough.
WOOOT! I have the Silky Katanaboy 650 and it is a huge beast! And this is even bigger! Awesome! But you are right, it is made for cross cutting large trees. The teeth size and the Teeth Per Inch are simply too low to saw small stock.
I've seen you guys try to break cheap folders.. how about try a Benchmade 940. Love your channel! Buying a bark river soon !
That fast and you were only using 2/3rds of the blade!! Awesome!
50%😅
Hi guys! You are the best bushcraft channel ever 👏👏👏
4 minute intro. NOICE
Dutch Bushcraft Shinobi. Cant wait for the video game, action figures and sound track
This was an awesome episode! You guys made my day 👌🏼
Allways am looking forward to thursdays for the DBK uploads.
You introduced to this song and great pieces of usable art, for this I forever thank you guys!!
I love your guys's videos with everybody put as much effort into it as you did
That's a big saw!... but then again, you guys are quite small...
For some Dutch guys that is, haha!
Vette video en vette zaag!👍
Nice one again boyz!! :) Thank you!
You guys are the funniest whilst informatist youtuberists ever. Loving your work. MORE MORE MORE
he guys i have a challange for you. try surviving with only keychain knives!
I love the quality & the hard work, you put in your videos! You're the best :)
thanks a lot Tobias!
hahaha love it when you get that deep voice and add reverb! Gets me laughting every time :D
Greatest hand saw on Earth! I am an ISA Arborist and tree climber with 12 years experience, and the reason why myself (and everybody else in the industry) use Silky Saws is because they are superior in every way, to every saw, every where. Props to Sweden for Fanno saws, though.
Holy frijoles! That is one huge saw. Darn thing cuts like a laser, too.
You guys inspired me to start a page that i could give my knife collection away on and other bushcraft related things and next week will be awesome 😀 keep it up guys and let's make people happy
Can you guys make another video abbout birch-water? keep up the great work👌
As always, Best intro, Review, Content and UA-cam Channel !!
@3:09 a guy from work runs to my desk screaming CARTOONS CARTOOOONS!!! ...than he sent me to buy him a coffee with “top granny” written on it... I think you guys struck a chord with him :)
Btw BEST INTRO EVEEEERRRR!!!!!
Congratulations on 200,000 subs boys
that's one hell of a saw... and a very entertaining video u guys made, really made my friday night better!!
Thanks a lot Joshua
Amazing video I have tested this saw and it is a beast
awesome! grate saw! not for me, but performs betther than i imagined it would.
about the video... the exposure and the color grading is perfect! congrats!
wilderness areas in the US don’t allow any mechanical equipment or vehicles, so everyone that works out there clearing/making trails has to use hand saws and axes. so uhhhh thisll do the trick
I love you guys, haha. Please, never stop making videos!
I love how the Handels represent my flag pretty well.
You are the best 😊Thanks for your work)) Keep it up 😎
You dudes make seriously entertaining videos.
Also, please get your podcast on pocket cast app
I'm slowly catching up on your videos, love it! I really want a silky saw (or more than 1). So awesome!
you wont regret it! Get yourself something like the gomboy 210 and a pocketboy 130 for the small bushcrafter :) You'll handle the saw of course but it's a good excuse to get 2.
I like how you think!!
Great review! Great mix of fun and knowledge! DBK Style
Where do I find the songs these guys use!? I love the show and love the music as well!
loving the comedy, bois
Wayyyyy toooooo big for me, wouldn't even fit in my backpack lol, great video and hope Mikkie is feeling better xxx
Love a good comparison review 👍🏻
Your video’s and skits are so entertaining!!
great video guys! could you do a full review of the mora companion some time soon?
Love your videos sooooo so much!
What do you think about Martiini Knives (Finland)? NO videos about them?
Hey, great video! I have had a Silky Gomtaro for many years but it needs sharpening now, any tips on sharpening Silky saws?
That was an excellent video! Great content and funny as hell! Glad i found your channel!
Thanks a lot David!
Another epic video!!! Thank you!
Verdomme goeie poep weer heren, complimenten
Silky is the way to go for saws. Pocket boy is great for throwing In your pack
Great video! 👍
So guys, for a serious outdoor long term saw blade, what do you recommend: Katanaboy 500, 650 or 1000? Pros and Cons. I'm in doubt between 650 and 1000. The 1000 is a exaggerated for me.
Again You guys made my day!!! Yeah!
Also who is covering that frank ocean song...?
A girl called 'B O K E H'!
Awesome vid, awesome saw. That was one hell of a workout, respect! Goeie figuranten ook trouwens, was dat Maarten's pa?
Yes haha
Boys, love from Switzerland 💕🇨🇭
Now that's a big one!
The coloring of the handle is actually due to the 30th anniversary when the silky Ninja tear down the Berlin wall.
I fucking love the dragon ball sound effects lmao it acc made this vid amazingggg
SKYRIM REFERENCE!!!!
haha definitely
When does this come out? I need this!
awesome video once again.
Would love to see some dutch knives on the show like Dolden Knives.
or maybe even hand forged knives. maybe from Alec steele, see if his fancy Damascus is any good :) his videos are great anyhow
First Dragonball, now Naruto.
Keep it up, we need to hit MAXIMUM anime!
Hahaha it's like the channels Easter egg
Great like always
So he ran! On his bike! 😂
You guys should get a knife from Jason Knight from Forged in fire and test it.
What are your thoughts about kukri knives
Trinkets, odds and ends, all sorts of things
Hmmmmm, i remember this from somewhere
When you guys got the Bark river gunny Scandi, did you need to reprofile it? Does it work very well out of the box? And does the skerper (Eden quality) stropping compound work well with cpm 3v?
Hey frederik, the eden compound works on 3v but it's kinda its limit. Bark river compound does a much faster job with 3v. The only gunny scandi we have belonged to virtuovice who had already sharpened it so we don't know
That was a fun one!!!
made a nother Video for the mora robust with mustled hammer guy
This is the best youtube channel😀
I know it’s kind of unorthodox, but could you shows us what the best way to sharpen a really long blade like a Katana would be?
Because of it’s sheer length, would sharpening it with a water stone like any “knife-sized” knife really be as efficient???
If the katana or blade is cheap a belt grinder would be best. I have some 1500 grit belts that leave a very nice polish. For a expensive katana it would be blasphemy haha you would use water stones and a lot of patience
Wow, thanks a bunch!!!
You should try the cold steel finn wolf in CTS XHP steel. I think you would be surprised. :)
Dang i just love u guys 👦 yes own 2 silky saws and there great
Is the the german Edition in Black Red yellow?
Hey DBK ! A quick question : What is with the viking steelß The edgeretention and all the stuff? You didnt say much in the Viking knife video.
it's the same as AUS-Mod8. it's a very tough stainless steel. It's easy to sharpen but the edge retention is mediocre. It's a great steel for bigger blades that have to take a lot of stress
Thank you :)
That Skyrim reference tho
Trinkets, odds and ends and that sort of things, Skyrim reference?
yes haha
The look on his face? He looked like he was pooing his pants! And enjoying it!!
Cool video as always but that electric chainsaw was not made for that log :D
Here you have a very good song: Human Music from Canti
“Trinkets, odds and ends. That sort of thing.” Was that an elder scrolls reference
Sure was haha
Oh and DBK, what would you say if I said "Drink cola not fanta"? Would that bring back memories?
Trinkets odds and ends, that sort of thing.
Canadian Prepper would enjoy this vid
Checked the description, but no musician link! Does anyone know who's music it is in this video? Thanks
3:23 best video part ever
Does it juice ?
Love this chanel sm
MY KATNABOY 500 seems so small now.
However, why go with a 14" wooden bow saw and a Openell #12 fodling saw instead?
1. The Silky has Japanese back-pull teeth, VERY HARD TO SHARPEN.
The file on your Leatherman tool is all you need to sharpen the bow saw.
2. The Silky is TOO large to use on smaller branches without whipping around on you
While the Openel is perfect for small stuff.
3. When the Silky breaks, and eventually it will, how will you repair it?
The bow saw is a wooden frame when it breaks, you can make a new frame out of the dry-wood you find. You just need: an ax, a draw-knife, a bush-crafting knife, and a pocket whitling knife.
The Silky is available in many sizes but you are right. Silky though are the fastest saws i have ever tested.
Actually I got in contact with silky yesterday about your comment. They actually have a special file now to sharpen some of their saws with
I watch all ur vids cauae i love dbk
I like this saw
