I wish people put this amount of work into helping their fellow people. There are so many starving and homeless people out there and this is what all the world's energy is going into exploring a giant hole in space that has no real practical use and current times.

Better yet, do we teach the entire chimp species how to use tools and iPhones OR do we lock them in cages and experiment on them in the name of our own species progress? Even better… when was the last time you had a conversation with your dog about physics and the wonders of the universe? If anything stops NHI from connecting with us it’s the Ego of Humans thinking we are capable of understanding it and worthy enough for a chance to try…
What about helping ourselves? What about holding the organizations responsible, accountable for their part? Why not prioritize people and health over profits and leveraging resources? We shouldn't expect Aliens to fix problems we created and which we readily solve, despite their apparent capability to do so. Aliens could have solved our problems for us already. Instead, they are telling us to do it ourselves; if you're really paying attention.
