  • Shweta Tiwari's life has been through several personal lows. While she battled domestic abuse in her first marriage with Raja Chaudhary and decided to walk out of it with her baby daughter Palak Tiwari, life put her in a similar situation once again. Shweta who later remarried Abhinav Kohli is now fighting a legal battle against her husband, after things went awry in the relationship. Abhinav has already come out with his side of the story, but Shweta has always maintained a dignified silence on the issue. Not anymore. In this first ever candid and emotional tell-all, Shweta discusses the ordeal she's gone through twice in her life and how her family, especially her kids Palak and Reyansh bring solace to her life. From running away with her first partner and get into an inter-caste marriage to divorcing him after battling physical abuse, from getting remarried to now fighting a legal case for her second broken marriage, Shweta has dealt with a lot of social judgment. Here, she answers all the questions that she's never answered before. Watch the chat right here.

I raised my voice when I was a typical housewife. My bastard husband hits me 6 slaps continuously and throw me in bathroom. I called my parents and moved out of that marriage with a child. I studied for 4to 5 years after that, got divorced and now working as a teacher. Life is 100 times better than a torturous married life.

More power to you mam ... its very important that women should speak up and stand against abuse and motivate other women to step out from a toxic relationship and also we men should also support women in this and should not judge rather help them by becoming their voice standing beside them

I am a child of an abusive marriage... My mom told me that it was for me....
Growing up I always felt that she should have taken a divorce....
Ladies, if you are in an abusive marriage, please leave, and dont stay in that marriage. The pain and trauma as a child I went through still lingers behind me, despite of me married to a wonderful man...The scar as a child of an abusive marriage will never leave me!

I DO NOT AGREE! There’s a reason for everything - even an abusive relationship has something to teach us - that we do not need another person to make us happy and we can stand up for ourselves. If p, for any reason, your mom/dad couldn’t leave an abusive relationship and it left a scar on you, you have the power to heal your life. If we carry the scar of our past into our future, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Ye, it is hard but it’s extremely rewarding when we emerge victorious.

Logon ki jagah apne upar focus kroge toh better hoga. Don't weak other women who are constantly trying to get out of abusive relationships. If you can't live alone, it means you are not woman enough to take stand and speak for yourself. It doesn't mean that you give such wrong message to other women. If you need a man for the sake of society, it means that you have no respect for your own self.

@@PMcse I think you are over-reacting. I have not said ever that women should not walk out of abusive marriages or relationships. Please don't jump the gun. And that is why some women feel the need to marry repeatedly despite their relationships not working.

There are two sides of coin one which Shweta told is correct but one more side I will let you know, there are some manipulating and abusive women in our society too, don't forget about it okay! Nobody is perfect here, there some women's who always misuse the laws, there are some women who uses pseudo feminism against men, Nowadays women's are losing there genuine feminity that's the reason there is chaos, and even there are some men as well who are losing there masculinity, finally I want to say just balance your masculine and feminine energy it applies to both women and men, women don't try to be men ok!and men don't try to be women! Don't go against nature law,or else you have to face situations like this whether it is man or woman, Balance the Yin Yang energy within you☯️ Blessings

Maybe we women aswell have to have empathy for other women aswell. It's first of all we women who talk bad about other women forgetting that we ourselves are women with our very own issues and problems. If for centuries we as women's would have support each other in the society nobody could break our bridge and we had not such status in society who blame woman. You definitely see men were much prouder, stronger and didn't let that happen to there image in society now nobody blames them without evidence. Not that I am saying we must choose one side, but cause this is how it works. We women are more fragile especially with kids and had to protect our women community so this day wouldn't come.

Yeah infact if you stay with the abusive partner there's a chance that that person will influence your child when you aren't supervising or advising them because environmental conditioning can hurt the kids too.. obviously sometimes kids try to be different from their parents but sometimes they can also be negatively affected and most ppl wouldnt want to take that chance and it's ok and absolutely right decision if people aren't willing to change than being stuck in an abusive/toxic marriage
Being abused/even if you fight back it ll still be a bad influence and will put your life at risk too ..so it's better to leave..

His mother told ‘ boys will be boys at least he comes back to you end of the day’ . I was horrified listening all those things and I knew they are a wrong family for me . Thank god gave me strength to take that step to call everything off. I’m living a very peaceful life and with grace of god I got a high earning job which wouldn’t have happened if I married him.

This woman... is so honest and crystal clear... each word that came of her mouth has a weight of experience and personal trauma... yes she made mistakes, not once but twice, yes you can call her stupid, yes she is emotional... but she also knows when to put her put her foot down and come out of it... that I think is commendable... and should be appreciated...

@@jonron3805 we can always learn from people's mistakes instead of doing those mistakes ourself.
We can learn from, how shweta has done mistake in choosing wrong men in her life. Also we can learn how bravely she is handling it. Right acts of person teaches us what to do and wrong acts can teach us what not do.

@@chhoriharyanaki5894 Yes fair enough we should learn from others mistakes. But then you need to know the incidents of the persons life from a neutral persons view point. Her statements are from ONLY her perspective so taking advice from her is totally incorrect. Moreover whatever decisions she took have not worked for her. Not to mention her first marrige, her second marriage was a result of a live in for a few years followed by many years of marriage, so if she took wrong decisions in choosing even the second man she has a history of making wrong decisions as far as relationships go, so it in unwise to take her observations.

What an amazing woman. I admire you and I want to tell you I love you. It's not only the problem of India, women in Pakistan go through such traumas too. There's absolutely no difference in the mentality of men, family and society in general. Women are raised to compromise while men get all the privileges there are. I hope our societies change. For that more power to women like you 💪
