From left to right, in the photograph, Tabla Nawaaz Keramutulla Khansahib, Ata Hussain Khansahib, Ustad Faiyaz Khansahib, unknown, Ghulam Rasool Khan on cacophonium.
I think this not a picture of this song, and its accompanists. I donot see ( though I can hear) a sarangi anywhere. Ustaad Faiyyaz Khan Saheb(Agra) always wore his medals on the chest like that!😀
Ustad Faiyaaz Khan Sahabka ek durbhagiya tha; vo hai unka original voice jaisa achcha tha, microphonic voice utne achcha nehi ate the. Jinko nasib hua real lifeme unka gaikee sunneme vohi jaante keya tha un jaise Hindustani soor-kalakar. Isska reference Soor-Itihaasskar Sri Kumar Prasadjika "Kudrat Rangi Berangi" me milte. Aur ek buhut-bahuthi dookh ki baat ka pata chalte, Marathi Soor-purush Pandit Bhaskar Bhaiya ka koi record nehi milte.
In "Kudrat Rangibirangi," Shri Kumarprasad Mukherjee has mentioned that a fraction of the "tasir" of Khan Saab's voice have been captured by such recordings. He had also rued that Khan Saab's radio recordings are after he had contacted the then dreaded disease TB, which ultimately claimed his life.
The "unknown" person is most likely Banda Hussain, brother of Ata Hussain. Of course I may be wrong. However, I seriously doubt whether the picture has any relation with the recorded music. The accompanying artist's "awaaz" apparently does not match with that of Ustad Ata Hussain Khan, at least what we have heard in the later days. This is also true for the Tabla accompaniment, Ustad Keramtullah Khan. But these are only my observations based on extrapolations to the distant past, I cannot vouch.
Oh... What a control of voice and modulation.....
Wah kya khoob ,adbhut gayaki😊Thanks for sharing 👍
The mesmerising Sarengi was probably played by Ustad Saggiruddin Khan.
I am very lucky to say that one of brother of my great grandmother was the student of ustad fiyaz khan

My good fortune! I am hearing this classic. My salutations to the great maestro. Indian classical music is heavenly.

Cacophonium instead of harmonium! Superb wit on intrusion of foreign instrument into our classical music and destroyer of sarangi. Superb wit.
Ustad Ghulam Rasool Khansahib used to play Harmonium and I am proud to say that the harmonium which you are seeing in this picture is still with me.
@@mjquraishi8393 Thanks! The sarangi accompaniment on this recording is outstanding and there is NO cacophonium at all

Ustad Allah Diya Khan sahab ki bhi koi recording nahi milti hai.

Could I buy a copy of this from you?

Super
What fun! I wonder who is accompanying? Sounds like Latafat and/or Sharafat and not Ata Hussain.
Raag tilak kamod!
What do you mean by live? 😅
Around when was this performed and where ? Amazing voices

Pakeezah ka gaana isi daadre pe banaya gaya tha. Ye daadra kai logon ne gaya hai.
Hearing this first time. Floored.

The picture appears not to have a bearing on the music. Astute observation.
