Vivo X200 Pro Hands-On: 135mm Portrait Shots and 10-Bit LOG

- The Vivo X200 Pro is here. How big of an upgrade will depend on which X100 phone you're comparing to. Against the X100 Pro, it's a noticeable upgrade, with a 200-megapixel Periscope zoom lens with the largest sensor size in the industry, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, along with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. Against the X100 Ultra, it's a smaller upgrade, since it already has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the 200-megapixel zoom lens.
But the X200 Pro bring some new software camera features, like the ability to shoot 135mm portraits with very fast shutter. There's also the ability to shoot 10-bit LOG footage that opens up color grading possibilities.

@@JohnDir-xw3hf People who buy these phones don't want to carry around an entire camera only. A Phone nowadays has much more use cases than use taking pictures.
Having a point and shoot camera that has the ability to make pictures that are usable for their use cases is a fair reason to buy "oversized and overpriced phones every year".
I personally own a Pixel 8 Pro - for the camera, because it's much cheaper than a camera that is considered professional and I want to own in the future. Just let the people spend their money in ways they think is good.

vivo has had good experience with cameras this X200 Pro is another example in zoom it is the king... but let's see here in a few months how the performance of the cameras will be but yes X200 pro is the king of zoom... if it comes to Portugal I will try one

How about the 2x/50mm quality? The X100 Pro was legendary in its 2x detail, hope the sensor size downgrade didn't affect it too much

Solid first impressions. As a 100 pro user, i like some of the quality of life changes to the phone and hope thet it does go global. I hope you also do something with the 200 pro Mini. Something tells me its probably spec was for the camera to the 100 pro minus the 1 inch sensor and the 200mp telephoto

X100U already has 4K 120fps and unlike Apple & Samsung Vivo also has it on the telephoto lens

How wide is the Selfie camera?
Does the x200 Pro have an IR blaster?
On their website its mentioned on the spec sheet but from what I've seen so far, it's not positioned on the top of the phone.
Is it inside the camera module like Xiaomi did last year?
Still very happy with the X100pro but this certainly is going in the right direction. Don't mind the smaller sensor at all, the 1 inch really gives too shallow DOF at times. Hope Vivo continues this way forward and continues to support the European markets.

Anyphone with good 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x zooms are really good camera phones.
You need 2x and 3x portraits to be good and also need 5x and 10x zoom capabaility to take long shots

using pixel 8 pro which is considered one of the best for photos here in the western markets. But this looks like it takes much better photos damn, shame Chinese companies are really not present in the west apart from oneplus which is much smaller than samsung, apple and even google now
the transition between lens is laggy again, right? I remember one of the key point of x100 series camera was able to zoom smoothly on video
