I know the world's not a safe place but America's not a safe place anymore either. But whatever the league has to do more to protect their superstar next season she is their cash cow for the futureand they don't do anything to protect her contact is one thing violent vicious cheap shots from the blind side is another. I am a big CC fan. I watched yesterday's game. While I thought the foul deserved to be upgraded to a flagrant foul, I think the Dallas player was legitimately trying to block the shot. It was a basketball play that ended in hard contact. That does not prove any sort on intent to injure. CC would help herself some, if she quit holding her hands out, asking for a foul call. An aside, I was impressed when she dislodged the ball, when it got stuck. That took some hops. The league exists for all of the players, not just CC. The other players are trying just as hard as her, to win.
It's like I always said if you can't stop her game, beat the hell out of her. The WNBA doesn't care, and you know the refs don't care. Caitlin gets a little upset with the attacks and shows her frustration out on a piece of steel she gets a tech, someone slams her to the floor and it just a play on the ball, no worries. Caitlin has had to deal with more physical flagrant fouls and outright assaults than anyone on the court this year. What does she do, she goes out there and scores in your face. Caitlin has not badmouthed anyone she takes it stride and not to mention all the stone age players who think they were better than her as a rookie just trying their best to tear her down mentally. Caitlin is one amazing basketball player and person.
