Good music is subjective though. My dad is heavily in Raggae and Zimbabwean music from the 80s and always tried to get us into it. Never got into it and was never my taste.
@@xnortheast1106 no that is not how entertainment works, if you mean good like that have a positive message then yes there is objectively good music but if you only mean entertainment value then music and all other forms of entertainment are purely subjective.

Maurice White born in Memphis Tennessee on December 19, 1941 was a drumming, singer, songwriter, and producing legend. At the age of 16 he moved to Chicago, Illinois and began studying music at the Chicago Conservatory Of Music. He worked at Chess Records as a sessions drummer with acts like Muddy Waters, Etta James, Chuck Berry, and Fontella Bass. In 1966 he joined up with Jazz Pianist Ramsey Lewis and formed a group called the Ramsey Lewis Trio where he performed as a drummer. He then left to start his own group in Chicago calling them the Salty Peppers after releasing two singles he relocated the group to Los Angeles and due to an inspiration while looking at his astrology chart as a Sagittarius he renamed the group to what would arguably become the greatest group of all time known as Earth Wind & Fire and would also start his own production company in the mid 70’s none as Kalimba Production.
I’m a 90s baby and a PK. Growing up for the longest time, all I knew was Motown, other Soul/R&B, jazz and Gospel. Then as I grew older, I was able to listen to other genres and such. A couple of years ago, I went to a Smokey Robinson concert and screamed like a nut when he came on stage because BAAABBBYYY I grew up on Smokey! Back home we have Vibe 100 and they will play old school hip hop, a couple months back, I was back home and me and my boomers parents were reciting the lyrics word for word in the car. It was magic to me. So glad I grew up with good music and they allowed me to expand my music palette.

When people talk about the culture of Hip Hop and Kool Mo Dee. I was like, I missed out on all that. We were still listening to Lean on Me, The Gambler, and Stand By Me.
Love how he lumped them together as one kid, calling them "Child formally known as 3" because they were supposed to be the 3rd child but turned out to be twins...😂😂😂😂
Everyone seems to feel this way until we have children of our own. Then we are disheartened at the lack of even basic respect. Especially today. Children have to be taught from Day One that a certain amount of respect is required towards those that came before. Especially if they are charged with preparing them for a world that is far harsher the one they think is so difficult right now, where they are someone protected and cushioned from its harsher realities. js
Grown Ish should have the Twins at College cause they're funny too❤
That girl is too big for a spinoff. She's special.
I wanted the twins to have a spin-off called “Black AND Grown” 😂😂😂
I mean they still can Marsai Martin & Miles Brown are only 19
Grownisj made more sense with Junior or the twins. Zoe fell flat on that show!
Where somehow everything always ends up going good for Jack and not Diane without her having to work hard lmao

Understanding the greatness of Prince is good for any child....
I love Shanna, the girl is sooooooooo underrated!!!
I wish I saw this when it was on the air. It looks like it was a really good show. I don’t even see repeats of it.

That is why kids wear their head phones, they can choose who to hear and not hear. 😊
"I only like purple on a bruise" what the fuck😂
Parents really be the biggest haters sometimes. How are you mad at me because you provided more for me than your parents did for you?
Exactly
Haters? Omg how childish. 😂😂😂😂
If they were truly haters, they’d stop giving your ungrateful asz all the extra bs that you have grown to love and feel entitled to. Let that sink in.
the level of ignorance in this comment is incredible...
There is a difference in exposing your children to good music and forcing them. Mocking them for their taste is also never a good idea.
The dad is hilarious 😂😂
Junior fineeeeeeeeeeeee asf
Bow's reaction 😂
Morpheus
Child formerly known as 3 lol
The funny thing is I grew up with Buddy Guy's grandson. Gregory
Prince and mj are icons kids should learn them july 16 2024
Remember forcing your kids to do shit they don't want to do will always make them hate the thing you force them to do and make them resent you
U look like prince ❤😊

This is the first generation that refuses to learn or respect the past.
Who are they looking at when they are spouting music facts?
The camera
What’s the name of this episode 😂
Pops wasn't wrong...
Okay this was funny but let's not look over how tight there hairline is.😂😂
Same generation that did the whole "satanic panic" bs and missed out on a lot great music anyway.
😂😂😂
They do matter to me

Diane is so evil why is she like this
I call my kids as numbers too. They are ranked by age and it is a lot easier to remember a single digit rather than actual names and ages.
Hahaha
😂😂😂❤
So we're breaking the 4th wall?😂😂😂😂😂
I mean they’re not wrong
Dre is a terrible parent
