Somewhere else someone posted "Ireland's answer to Arthur Rubenstein, on harp". I bet he would be flattered. Unfair that she's not only the best, but plays so many other instruments so well.
Wonderful stuff. So relaxing and beautiful. What a terrible pity we never see or hear such music on UK TV stations such as BBC 4. Instead we have to listen to dreary ancient ttop rubbish from 1980s.
The first tune is Martin Hardiman's and the second tune is Lark on the Strand. Martin Hardiman's does somewhat resemble Banks of Lough Gowna, but they are most definitely different tunes.
Grazie.
Wonderful Michelle
Absolutely wonderful playing, she is a genius.
A harp quartet all in one. Marvellous
Privileged to have Ms. Mulcahy as a sub teacher !!
Ms mulcahy is our music teacher
Truly one of a kind talent. A master at work.

Was lucky to hear Michelle live, she plays as if she has 20 fingers, smooth, haunting, and silky.
Michelle,
You are a genius! Such beautiful tone and amazing left-hand rhythms.
Exceptional playing, this is really wonderful.
Bravo, Michelle! You must come to New York someday....

That's just awesome!
I believe Lark on the Strand is the second tune... I think the first tune is a version of The Banks Of Lough Gamhna.
Lovely girl, and so talented..
Wow how can she keep up that speed!
It’s amazing!

maybe it's not Miss Mulacahy. I think it's an angel playing on the harp
Jesus christ audience, let it ring..........
This is gorgeous :) What key is she playing it in?
Paul Gribben F major
@Viooo1989 Lark in the Strand
Unusual interpretation. Little emphasis on the beat. Very smooth flow.
sounds like a jazz contrabass is improvising along
perfect swinging, flowing beat
au contraire , there is a very strict rhythm at play , its just not thumpa thumpa
cameraman needs some auditing.
