This idea was done ages ago as well by candymachine Piotr but I’m glad to see sim racers having more of an opportunity.
@@chris_nfernal637 I don't like to think of it as a "idea" more than a opportunity to do some good for Sim drivings reputation and prove that it is a helpful tool.
Like Piotr's Wiecek video with Rhys driving :) Hope it will have such views, cause this is worth it. I've learned 4th person already to drift on SIM and still convincing them, that sim is not a 'playing' - is really a 'driving'! And they were shocked, that I have right. Dude this was epic!! We need more sim videos but from pros! it kinda sucks how sim racing drivers can get millions of subs but actual pros have a hard time gaining subs. Ill never understand that, but you could bridge that gap by combining both worlds!
At the end of the day man I’m just glad that Zack got an opportunity to fulfill one of his life’s dreams!

House sim racing drivers with no track experience are already up par with the veteran drivers and it shows.

I noticed the same when i got my first real life drift test drive. It just feels like you have extra inputs which help you to navigate the car. After a few runs to get used to the car you can just pick up your muscle memories and go for the curbs etc. Its crazy how good sims got.

Right he said he's been sim driving for years and he could have been out there driving a real fuckin car once he got it down. sell the rig and buy a shitbox go out there and do the shit for real support local events and all the companies that support drifting but no.
@@Vgk36 tires, fuel and entry fees + tech and other associated costs don't exist in sim racing. It's all free and infinite. But you're right, he should have just spent 10's of thousands in real life practicing instead of $3k on his sim rig and gotten less experience in the same time. 🤡

The trust it takes to put anyone behind the wheel of a vehicle that has that much hp, time, and money put into it and tell them to go rip it and just let him go and burn several sets of Sean (Lucas Black) is saying to Twink (Bow Wow) that he's gonna grab another set. Then Twink jumps up, saying, No. Look, that was your third set today. I mean, them tires ain't cheap. Lol

So jelly! If you already know the basics from simulation I would argue that driving real one is almost easier :D when in sim you don't feel the g's and you just have to go with what you know what should happen with what input

Totally agree! Sim raining back the was unobtainable to 90% of us back in the day. Wish I would’ve had these tools available back then.
We had Live for Speed back then, tbh FFB in it actually feels more natural then AC though it's lacking in other parts.
@DriftNick we did, but the wheel market was super limited. Now there's so many good wheel options out there, plus so many AC mods that feel super good and responsive

Very cool. I'm so curious about how much easier it must be on the pure technical side of things to control a real drift car than a sim car. I know that I do so much left foot braking when I drift in sims, not just for controlling angle but just as a practical tool to slow transitions(or 360s) down if they're too fast and unpredictable, and I feel like if I was in a real car I wouldn't need to use brake to slow transitions at all because the g-forces would be there guiding me.
Zach is born to race! took to it like he was just a little rusty on the edges and then rapidly switched it up once he got a feel for the car and track. Good job on all the guys that made this dudes dream a real life experience!
