You have the right to travel, and fair enough. You can walk, ride a bicycle, take a bus, fly in a plane. I mean, assuming you are not under some form of bail restriction, have at it re: travel. But, if you are going to operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway, you are required to have a license, insurance, and your vehicle must be registered. This was all decided by SCOTUS in 1930, with their decision upholding the decision(s) of thousands of lower courts.
Noting, after reiterating the right to travel in the inaugural paragraph, the decision goes on to explicitly and repeatedly grant municipalities (later interpreted to include the individual states as well) the right to regulate automobile travel in their geographic area. This includes traffic laws, the requirement(s) for insurance/registration, and the requirement for a driver's license. That's what the law says. I trust you are not simple-minded enough to try and excerpt a sentence or two out of a 5-6 page SCOTUS decision; and then hold that sentence or two out as being the law of the land. You're not doing that, right ?

“The right of a citizen to travel upon the highway and transport his property thereon, in the ordinary course of life and business, differs radically and obviously from that of one who makes the highway his place of business and uses it for private gain, in the running of a stage coach or omnibus. The former is the usual and ordinary right of a citizen, a common right, a right common to all, while the latter is special, unusual, and extraordinary.”

@@ima9173 The state is misapplying (through trickery, deceit and when necessary with violence) commercial code to those outside the purview of the original statutes. A free people do not need, nor would they ever seek, permission from those who style themselves as "servants" to a.) Own Property, b.) Use and Enjoy that Property, c.) To Travel in their Automobile on the roads paid for by fuel taxes and held in trust for the People, or to d.) exercise our God given rights.
Do you seriously believe that our rights come from "government"?
Here's a quick thought experiment for you...
      O.C.G.A. 50-3-9 (2010)
Abuse of federal, state, or Confederate flag unlawful
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to mutilate, deface, defile, or abuse contemptuously the flag of the United States, the flag, coat of arms, or emblem of the State of Georgia, or the flag or emblem of the Confederate States of America by any act whatever.
Does this mean it is a "crime" to burn a Confederate flag in the state of Georgia?
The government lies about everything. Why wouldn’t they be lying about this?
"Personal liberty largely consists of the Right of locomotion -- to go where and when one pleases -- only so far restrained as the Rights of others may make it necessary for the welfare of all other citizens. The Right of the Citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, by horse drawn carriage, wagon, or automobile, is not a mere privilege which may be permitted or prohibited at will, but the common Right which he has under his Right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Under this Constitutional guarantee one may, therefore, under normal conditions, travel at his inclination along the public highways or in public places, and while conducting himself in an orderly and decent manner, neither interfering with nor disturbing another's Rights, he will be protected, not only in his person, but in his safe conduct."
      II Am.Jur. (1st) Constitutional Law, Sect.329, p.1135
Why would the preeminent encyclopedia of American Jurisprudence say this? It is clearly not a typo.
      The "government" is gaslighting you.
