12V does not kill, it is not how much a device is drawing, it is how much the body is conducting. so at 12V and at minimum resistance for a human body 1000 ohms (it ranges from 1k to 100k) we get 12/1000=0.012amps = 12mA. which is not enough to do any kind of damage.

Plug plugs and do not use ordinary screws and connect the terminals to the battery instead of so. This question is for clarification and in the end it is well done

If placed in the water than the electric current produced would start separating the hydrogen from the oxygen molecules resulting in a potential explosion. I do not advice this.

It will work until the heat burns the oxide off the aluminum. Then you will have an controllable fire . Look up how the British war ship was torpedoed and how the men suffered from aluminum oxide ignition. As said in another comment the center bar needs to be iron .

Very nice but it would be far better if you put the glow plugs directly in the pot. Waste much less heat and have a more beneficent water heater.
Normally electric kettles have the heater in the water , this makes them very efficient , I would guess at least twice as efficient as your design .

Cool! Why not just insert the heating element into the pot?
Also if you add electric current to H2O it will separate into Hydrogen and Oxygen gases. Which in turn could cause an explosion.
