    Thanks, very well explained but wouldn't you bleed the breaks after I've seen alot of people just pump them a couple times but I've had problems if I don't bleed them

    This was awesome. I love when people make no nonsense instructional videos like this on UA-cam. By the way, you said you weren't keeping this truck very long after this break job. What did you end up getting?

      Thanks for the response. I ended up checking out your tender video. Good luck with the motor rebuild. Hopefully you have no issues moving forward.

    Stupid question. How can you tell which wheel rims you have? As far as aluminum vs steel? Are yours aluminum or steel?… Btw, out of all the rear brake videos I’ve seen. Yours is the best!

    • @DIYJIM
      @DIYJIM  2 роки тому +1

      Yes mine are aluminum, thanks for watching glad I could help.

      A magnet would work too. I think only the Sr model tundra had steel.

    Can you just take the top bolt off the caliper and it will flap open and just put the pads?

    65 foot pounds torque is not to much for the break calipers?

      It's 65 rear and 70 front. That's lost. Alloy wheels are only 97. And it's spelled brake.

    • @MichaelDimaggio-h7x

      @@666dynomax I agree the breaks only need 65 on the rear and front breaks are 70
