- Continuing my exploration of the tram network around Croydon. In this episode we start at East Croydon and follow the routes to New Addington, Beckenham Junction and Elmers End along Addiscombe Road to Sandilands tram stop where they join the alignment of the Woodside & South Croydon Joint Railway, which we explored in a previous episode.
Great video
Cool - right outside my house, too...
Excellent film as always, certainly the Croydon tram system is extremely good and as you say if you were 20 years younger. Well done 🤓 stay safe 💙
“If only I was 20 years younger” made me laugh lol
Another good video Boogy. Could do with trams round where I live but a tad bit hilly and they say Essex is flat.
What like in Chelmsford or Colchester. Don’t think so. They got Park & Ride. Norwich could do with trams as it used to have trams in the past and they too do have Park & Ride.
Fantastic Video! I really enjoyed this :)
Thank you
@@BoogiesTrains your welcome :)
This is why South London loves its trams. Shame about North London, West London and East London who were planning to have trams which could possibly happen in like 15-20 years time. I do like the Tramlink in Croydon and Wimbledon.
And there are plans to build a new tram line “Tramlink 2” from Wimbledon or Colliers Wood to Sutton which might actually happen. Depending on the approval if it does get the go ahead.
More lines on the network can only be good, hopefully then they're refurbish the old trams as seen in the video as they're starting to show their age. The new ones that run on the Wimbeldon line are great, but there aren't enough of them.
@@xigbar1994 Indeed.
EssexLad 8919 you know what, the thing is Croydon is a rough place good and bad places In the borough like a few places, but the trams is what makes Croydon more quieter with the trams, Croydon would be some bad place
@@xigbar1994 without the old trams the system is gonna be like a ghost town.
Wow really nice video mate good job. Greetings mate.
will you go to elmers end or have you already been
Elmers end was covered in a previous video about the railway from New Beckenham to Addiscombe. I think it was published a couple of weeks ago. I have been working on so many at the same time that I can't remember exactly.
