Sometimes we eat things for nostalgia, not because it's a great representation of that food. I personally like the cheap Old El Paso crunchy taco shells because they remind me of my mom and childhood.
Thank you Ash for finally saying something to Price about his desire to fill every space with unnecessary items!!! 35:10 It has been driving me nuts for hundreds of episodes.
I would love to see Stumpt randomly draw what positions they’ll play when it comes to this game. Everyone does the same thing each time, but I’d love to see Ash & Jaz in the kitchen or vice versa. So much more fun to watch. ❤
soft tacos don't exist, they're just small half-burritos. to me "taco" means a cr0nch is involved, please submit all criticism in written form to the nearest paper shredder for appropriate processing. fr though, tortillas should at least be heated. cook in oil to add some cronch.
fun fact about the tweezer thing, Medical instrumentation has instruments that can only be used one cause it can not be sterilized again after use cause of the materials used in it. You can still clean them and use them for other things and such for day stuff, but anything medical wise it is considered something to be thrown away since it is not safe to use anymore. There are medical instruments though they won't throw way cause they can be re-clean and properly sterilized again for use again, just depends on the materials and procedures of the medical devices! Also yay Tacos
Guys, it's a game, too, please remember. If you had to do everything the same way as real life, it wouldn't be possible. For example, to make a decent real-life-accurate marinara would take up half the in-game day and the ingredients needed would take up most of your restaurant space. Even Day 1 of a spaghetti run would be impossible based on the way the game works because your first customers would lose patience before your sauce was half-way done. Chopping a single tomato twice is not how the game is suggesting marinara should be made, it's just a shorthand way to express the idea of tomato sauce while keeping the game mechanics simple. Same goes for these tacos.
Also, I'm very curious about the way Ash pronounces the word "restaurant" as "renstraunt." No judgement, I'm just curious. Is that a regional thing, a family thing, or just like, a pronunciation specific to Ash?
lmao i did in fact survive some digestive issues over 6 months with plain greenbeans straight out the can, unsweetened unflavored applesauce, and minute rice. still a great choice for when food sounds Too Complicated
For how long they've played this game, I'm still surprised that they haven't learned this game isn't an in depth cooking simulator, but rather a food themed co-op time management game. The focus is more on the gameplay than it is any actual realism hence why there are really odd things such as dumping pasta water in the bin, customers ordering cake flavours, and being able to bake bread on an open hob, and new recipes seem to prioritise a different kind of gameplay loop. If tacos was as detailed and in depth as they wanted it to be, they'd struggle getting any out on time. Also, it simplifies it a lot in the event they get a new dish that requires the same ingredients.
And knowing that it still hurts in the minority culture feels when they make fried rice with dry rice grains direct from the bag. Totally with Jazzy here
Pasta water can actually be bad for your plumbing. The starch can cause blockages. I know people who save their pasta water for watering plants. As long as you don't salt the water, it's good for your plants.
Every one has trouble with tacos their first time around. You really gotta let the bean speak to you, and listen. Like everything serving and eating a taco is all about communication
i was looking forward to watching a latest plateup video.... but you got to stop with the negativity... as soon as the video starts that lady starts yapping about how the game is bad, this is bad or that is bad... i have enough bad things in life and that why i am watching this video not to know how bad more things are
Ok, I would like to mention that no white family I know in the southern states eats straight soft tortillas out of the package without heating that bish up a bit. So can we leave color out of this? If northerners are eating cold uncooked tortillas that's on them. Also, seen an hispanic friend, from a mexican family eat an unheated (not raw) tortilla with just butter on it. Which is the equivalent of a plain slice of white bread folded in half with just butter in it. So ya....
It's an internet joke from 4 years ago: ua-cam.com/video/8yrSCoEsmqA/v-deo.htmlsi=JycO_a2sXO3md5o9. What they call "white people tacos" are the Americanized version of a taco (crunchy corn or white flour tortilla, ground beef with "taco" seasoning, shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese), eaten mainly by white people in the U.S. as opposed to more traditional tacos eaten in Latinx and minority communities. I'm not sure how it's offensive?
@@Wizzyaka I don't think you got the joke. It's not that white people are unable to make decent, more authentic tacos--it's that the Americanized version of a taco was made and is consumed mainly by and for white people. Same thing with Chinese food--there's a huge difference between Americanized Chinese food that you can get almost anywhere in the U.S., and actual Chinese food.

I agree wif Ash, when the service crew dont hav any space, u dont have to keep pumping out food especially the food is not the problem
im loving that stumpt completrly forgot about soft tacos lol

Can confirm this is NOT how we do things in the UK 😂
Thank you! We were worried! (For legal purposes this is a joke) ;) (Aenne)
These play up videos are now my bedtime to go watch, Thx Guys ♥️👍🏻
as someone who loves the soft taco shells straight from the packaging, i feel slightly attacked
lol
I like prepackaged tacos and the taco flavoring from the packet too lol

An hour of plateup? What will I do with the other 23 hours of the day.

Yes.
I love the different ways Ash speaks. Instead of “also,” it’s “oh so.” It’s enduring and makes Ash, Ash. 🫶

Jarritos is where it’s at when it comes to Mexican soda.
i had tacos like these once... i was vacationing in mexico when i had them...

1:20 Serve individually or give tray directly to customers 🤔. The latter sounds nasty, period! 😅
39:32 In honour of Aenne, I have a good one "Do you like tacos cause you can put the meat inside me" 😜
Y papas
We'll desperatly need a taco after this video 🤤🤣

Indeed. I thought they dragged the joke too much. It was not funny either. Everyone can make decent or masterful dishes from other countries.

Sad reality of modern day western society. If you ever said “brown people burgers” or “brown people steak” you would be socially crucified,
Canned green beans are trash.. canned French style green beans 💋🤌🤌🤌
