Dude in intellj if you want to add any dependency just add random word in your maven project. And hover on that word ..you'll get suggestion as add more options. Click on that..there you can get add maven dependency ...then enter your required artifact id...and click on add...it will extract automatically

I dont understand why in your first example, you use /src/main, but in your 2nd example with Maven, you use src/test. Can I write the source code directly in /src/main in stead of using src/test? Writing selenium Java under maven always gives me the headache of ok on the IDE, but lots of problems to packaging the JARs for delivery. Perhaps I dont have experience in creating executable in Maven. Appreciate your guidance. Thanks a lot.

Hi Mate, you need selenium jar for web automation and if you are using selenium with python or js then you need module for the same.

"Only local connections are allowed."
Other than this message, chrome always pops up to ask me for resetting my security settings each time I run the code. I am just learning selenium. I delete triggerreset but problem still exist. thanks for the help.

I have downloaded the "Selenium Clients and WebDriver Language Bindings" for Java.
i have added the same in External libraries.
System.setProperty("webdriver.chrome.driver", "address");

My chrome is not getting launch from intellij but the same piece of code is working in eclipse.
