The impressive thing about the win was that we didn't let City dictate the pace really. They can move the ball and pass pass pass all they like but can't be upset when a team is well organised against them, doesn't let them get into the positions they want (until Doku came on) I really think we set a blueprint on how to beat them. I also didn't think having three forwards would work as in Rashford, Bruno and Garnacho pressing very high, but it did. They kept winning the second balls and ultimately it's what led to the first goal.
The FA Cup is massive. The money in the premier league and champions league has people convinced finishing fourth is bigger but it just isn’t. He is a great player when we are winning. And in a setup when we have enuf working teamwise he is a great contributer. But, I still suspect we would be better off selling him for value right now. As he is peak value, before he starts to decline with age. I'd rather buy two younger players to develop. But I am not set on it. I rate runo.

Strange that they are only now talking about at a review , this is going to sounds weird but I reckon SJR/Ineos were expecting united to lose and for them to have enough evidence to then sack him. But winning has complicated things , heard earlier that by winning the FA cup it has also added more financial responsibility to SJR to pay him for that cup win as a bonus. That added with the majority of the fans now wanting him to stay , it seems like they are now swayed. Decision should have been made on Friday evening in my opinion , it shows they are not decisive when making decision , and dear I say it very Glazer ish. Yeah and that was always massively misinformed. We clearly did not have the third best squad in the league last season, we overperformed by a country mile. We probably realistically had the 4th or 5th best squad in the league. That’s why I wasn’t expecting a huge improvement because we had already massively overperformed.

I don't know what is seemingly becoming petty with these anti United fans who have dropped their faces that Man Utd won the FA Cup it's a major domestic cup which has been existing since 1880's or something. But overall domestically in the league we've been really poor finishing 8th with 60 points but to a season of much lows still won something and get Europa League for 2024/25. Man Utd played well against the so called 4 in a row champions Man City their big players were AWOL in the game. Played well won 2-1 and defended well. They didn't look like scoring until next month. As soon as the full time whistle came they all vanished.
