About putting back the spring. I found it easier by pulling the back spring with a piece of thread through the hole of the back face plate and use a tweezer to put the end of the spring on the back plate. Maybe you can give that a try and see if it helps.
I was thinking of getting an ICY doll with a matte face to try for my first blythe type doll. Should I stick to the shiny face if I want to try a custom faceup?
@@BeBeDolls thank you so much for the advise. I appreciate you showing an ICY next to a Blythe. They are definately different sculpts but I found I really liked the ICY. I would not have k iwn had you not done that comparison. If I like her. I plan on trying a Blythe.
Ophelia is stunning 🤩
I think the doll's head is still tilted downwards... which I assume the owner did not want since her doll had the added neck joint.

That is a great idea! I'll try that next time if I have to do it again. ;)
Nah, that’s definitely an SBL, the earlier ones are just REALLY glued.
Apparently! :)
I dont think i will ever customize an SBL seems like too much of a hassle!
Well the only thing is they are always a great price so it's hard to pass them up...but yeah they are challenging

Yes! Don't get a matte face if you plan to customize...they are a nightmare.
