Best transformation explanation on UA-cam. Thanks a lot
Who would have thought that a high school kid can explain a subject so easy and that is in contrary to all the other videos where they make an elephant out of a mouse. Great job man!
Really easy to follow along and simply explained. Thank you!
1:18 what an absolute savage XD
*Sheering is shifting a shape in one direction without changing the other direction.
*Horizontal Sheering changes the width but not height, Vertical Sheering changes height but not width.
Thanks for the video!
Great video. Thank you!
Simple and helpful. thank u!
Why does the R programming language perform Standard Deviation and R^2 when scaling? What is the difference between this version and the R version?
very useful!
best explanation !lot thanks
So is a shear transformation linear or not? As I understand it, every coordinate needs to be multiplied by the same scalar to be linear, so shear transformations are never linear. Is this right?
Hi BCrafty121,
A shear transformation is a linear transformation. For more information on them, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shear_mapping is a good place to look,
thank u
ty
is sheering the same as dilation?
Hi Samuel, dilation is another name for scaling, not sheering. We hope you enjoyed our video!
Think of a shear as a translation in which only certain coordinates are ahifted
uuuuummmmmmm
uuuuuhhhhhhh
help ppl visualize...you are just writing formulas and showing it on practise...
Ghetto? Not everyone can afford Photoshop.
