A perk of being board certified is that coaches and trainers of sports teams look for that in a massage therapist. So if you want to work with sports teams on a high caliper level with acute injuries and chronic issues, it can be necessary.
You can also work at a chiro office for awhile to get that experience as many of them work with athletes as well but they look for board certified massage therapists to be right there on the sidelines.

Girrrllll….thank you so much for your videos, especially the pep talk in the beginning. Been out of school for almost two years after having a surprise pregnancy right after graduation. Im hoping to take the MBLEx in November, moving states in November so can’t schedule it quite right now but will once I get more info. Im ready to step into this work.

@@cowboycookie95 unfortunately not but it was the pathologies and laws and business practices. They gave me super out of left field questions for both of them so I just need to focus on those subjects a little more.

Best of luck, I take mine in 2 days. I'm a little nervous. Getting a massage here in a bit too calm me down lol
