He never really met anyone like her. Everyone else, with all their sophistication and moral standings, they all melt when turns on his “charm”. But the difference between them is that they only saw they wanted to, she takes the world for what it is. She doesn’t listen to what she wants to hear from him, she listens to what he says, and tells him what she thinks. They’re the kind of women anyone should go for. Especially someone like Dorian Gray.
When Ben says pleasure is very different than happiness...followed up by the peril quote...he is saying the deeper you go...the more light..escapes. The real danger in the pursuit is that you're feeding the wrong wolf...
i can assure pleasure is very different from happiness, i mean some things are more precious because they dont last - oscar wilde is an incredible writer
This scene totally invented for the film is a good thing. Ben Barnes adds depth to their exchange. Basil's phrase that he uses is significant of Dorian's awareness. And Emily see Dorian, she sees he has a heart. A very beautiful scene to see and see again...
It's a certain author who was inspired by Wilde's book and the film and not the other way around. But Grey can't come close to Ben Barnes' Gray. C'est une certaine autrice qui s'est inspirée du livre de Wilde et du film et pas l'inverse. Mais Grey n'arrive pas à la cheville du Gray de Ben Barnes.
The way she said "how terrifying" and the way dorian smirked

I love seeing & feeling the chemistry between these actors in this scene. They were perfectly cast for their roles.

WHY DO YOU LADIES FALL FOR PSYCHOPATHIC KILLERS LIKE MHHHH... DORIAN GRAY!.. * wipes forehead *
obviously they had to choose an actor with brown hair....

This is a good scene.
But I like the scene where he tries to kill Henry more.
And also the scene where he sells his soul
I expected a flash of ugly in the lightning. Too corny?
