- There is no better way to get to know the ponies that by camping out under the stars with them. I had just received their new pack saddle so I took them up on to Dartmoor to find a good spot to camp. This was the first time Louis the Cat or the Ponies (except Albert & Ernie) had ever been camping.

She genuinely cares for her tribe and thats so refreshing to see. Thank you Emma for bringing us a little sunshine in a sometimes very dark world.
I really like what kind of activities she does with her pets, but when it comes to the food for the cat, it's quite terrible. The lowest & cheapest quality of food possible, full of grain, sugar & barely any meat in it. The cat will get sick from that garbage sooner or later.
I hope nobody will take her as an example when it comes to cat diet.

Your connection to the animals is awesome to watch. The respect and affection is so clear to see and it's mutual. I used to take my cat camping, too, and she loved it. Had a wonderful holiday in Dartmoor when I lived and worked in City London. Lovely scenery! The Dartmoor ponies are very amusing and quite familiar with tourists. A couple kept trying to pick my pockets, I suspect because visitors tend to feed them. Too bad, can't be good for them. You really enjoy your family members. Thank you for reviving my memories.
I would have said this is crazy... but there is something so beautiful and free and touching about the animal/human relationship that I’m green with envy. You make me wish I was young again and had the courage to be different. Too late now I’m old and almost wheelchair bound. I couldn’t look after myself let alone a single pony. I’m so glad you do things your way, so natural and free. It’s nice to watch and enjoy your journey. THANKYOU for sharing.

I discovered your channel a while ago, attracted by all your animals gathering around your tent. So much trust, love and respect for animals is so rare today. They are so cute. Awesome England landscapes. A very long time ago, I slept in nature and our horses would come and sniff at us at dawn ! I keep fantastic memories of such peaceful moments. Your dog is so cute too. Your cat is very comfy to camp. He reminds me of mine ages ago. A rescue, crossed European-Siamese. You do amazing things with lots of humor 😀 your tribe is unique having different species getting on well all together
I just found you and boy am I happy. I have owned horses for over 46 years. I’ve only owned two minis and two ponies but many full size and draft horses plus dog dog and horse rescue. I cannot wait to go through all of your videos now that I’ve found you! Cheers from Alaska.

Emma, absolutely hilarious, and infinitely practical! Love it. Reminds me of when I packed halfway across New South Wales here in Australia, just me and my two mares, living and camping on the stock routes. One to ride, one to pack, and it was a big pack. Your ponies are so trusting of you, delightfully funny, hanging around camp. An old bushman told me if you carry oats, take the butt to bed with you, or they'll come into camp and steal them in the night. The horse god is happy, he loves you because you hear him.
I love your entourage of ponies, they seem so intent on the journey!
It brings to mind the ancestry of the horse (or pony), (or all domestic animals, maybe?) living with nomadic tribes etc.
I hope you will continue to take expeditions.

Near the end when she gets out of the tent in the morning all i keep looking at is one of the ponies put a weed out of the ground and put it back down>:)XD XD XD

Such a lovely spot to camp out. You lead an amazing life Emma. I’m a South African so these beautiful green hills amaze me. My son is working in Scotland so I will be visiting the UK soon.
