Reminds me of Barry Sanders, not in the electrifying how did he get away, but the strength, bouncing off tacklers, and the break away speed that he rarely gets caught. Hope me makes it to the next level and thrives there as well...
He’s also the first RB since Barry to command more attention than the quarterback. Crazy to watch how defenses gameplan him, the one that’s worked the best so far was UNLV sacrificing their fastest LB to shadow him. Left such a large gap their QB ran for like 70 lol
Never thought I’d say this or even live to see it happen again, but this guy is this generation’s Barry Sanders. Uncanny how similar he runs to Barry. Like Kobe was to MJ.
He’s not the biggest , but he has extremely good patience and a super strong center of gravity . He just bounces off tackles. Super smooth runner too like arian foster .
Ironically I think his "lack" of size helps him because his excellent running technique makes up for short legs. Yeah he's only 5'9, but he's 215. That is YOKED. And it keeps his center of gravity low as hell so it's nearly impossible for defenders to get under him. When they do, he has absolute tree trunks for legs so it's still not a guaranteed tackle.
He is the best player in college football. Bar none. Jeanty is the man. No other player is facing 36 guys in the box. TH hasn’t faced double and triple coverage all year. Jeanty is the trophy winner. True statement.
@@kja6336 We'll see. I think Jeanty's good. But I have my doubts about how he'll translate to the NFL. I'm not sure his tackle breaking ability is sustainable along with his stiff hips. Not in the pros. Derrick Henry, CMC, and Saquon. Saquon was unreal to watch.
@@jadenblackerby3325 CMC, Henry and Saquon didn’t have half as good starts to their seasons as Jeanty. They showed this on ESPN, they’ll keep showing how absurd Jeanty is every time he plays if you want to know. CMC is more comparable because of their style, maybe Jeanty doesn’t hold up but he doesn’t have injury history. All the RBs with injury problems in the NFL had same issues in college. You can’t hate on the one guy for being young and then lost those guys as better RBs lol if your first thought isn’t Reggie Bush you’re too young. @@kja6336 The thing is, what if he's unable to break tackles at the next level? If he can't break those first tackles, he'd be averaging about 2-3 yards per carry. Vision, speed, balance, power. Don’t think there’s been a more perfect prospect coming into the league since Derrick Henry. If NFL teams could sign college players mid season he’d be on a roster right now and probably top 5 in the league in rushing.
