I have been wearing a crown topette for 5yrs and got tired of the same look all the time and I absolute love pony tails and really started missing the look, I tried it with my topette but the sides looked too funny. I would love to buy these pieces and give it a go however my only concern is that my hair is much more finer than yours so I am lacking confidence the body of the hair (middle of crown) will hold the clips securely ☹

My best friend is a black stylist. I had some clip ins that I asked her to turn into a pony for me. She used the drawstring to make it. She did a great job, but it looks like it's fake, even though it's real Remy hair. I tried this technique here and it took me a while, but it looks so good! ❣️❣️❣️
I LOVE what you've done here! I do think it is a much more natural look (which I sometimes prefer) and can see how there is a small learning curve, but will become easy enough with a little practice. I also use the type of clip-on, wrap around ponytails you were showing at the beginning and have been quite happy with them also as they are fun and easy. I don't find them uncomfortable at all, but it is important to use the little lock-in comb before beginning to wrap and to be careful of the small velcro piece when wrapping, although that is usually only an issue for the first wrap afterwhich it is covered. The natural look isn't as important for me with these type of ponytails as I am often going for the opposite, e.g., green, rose, purple, silver/black, ombres. Turning the extensions upsidedown is a GREAT idea! I have been frustrated with the look of my clip-on extensions as my hair is *very* thin (medications having cost me most of it), and I've had trouble covering the extensions to my liking. So I will be using the teasing method you've shown for both the natural looking ponytail (which really does look great) *and* for when I'm wearing them straight. Thank you for some really great tips! :)

I have fine hair too and it gets greasy easily but it’s curly when I wash it so I don’t want to wash it and put heat on it everyday to make it blend.... can you wear this hair style with 3rd day grease or no?
I love the hidden crown clippings. But my hair is very find and thin , the top is find I’ve had two hair transplants. The back is cut in a nick line . I didn’t see any toppers that would hide the back of my hair. I did see one put on a client that had shoulder lienth hair. My color would be 60/8 . I hope there is something that would work on me. I really liked this but unfortunately for me it's not working since my hair is so much different than the extensions. It's so obvious not my hair. Real shame though cause it felt I could wear it all day long without a problem it felt so comfortable!

I would say that would depend on how comfortable your scalp is being oil with an extension on.
