The idea of Keeping Epic ones at Level 5 makes a lot of sense tho

i kept most of my legendaries at lvl5 as well
That's what I always did, the last one costs too much parts, so I keep em at lvl 5

another good implant to stop upgrading at level 5 is the epic carbine magazine. at level 5 it gives a 20% increase ehich equates into 10 bullets, or an additionaly 2 clean bursts

Viper has similar mechanics, max Legendary mag ends with a full cycle, but id bet Epic doesnt

Tip #6: after the update you only need 5 ability cooldown implants (and maybe 1-2 duration/DMG if you use those) You'll be able to use the same ability cooldown implants on all your builds and present.
So don't upgrade more generic mech implants than you'll use in a single hangar.

If i would add a tip, it is to make screenshots or a video of the implants you currently have. Just in case Plarium screws up the transfer....

There's a forgotten mech named Ronin that never made it to the game (i think) Ronin looked like a combination of lancer and juggernaut
yup. shadow* has the skullface skin which has the same colour pallet as the ronin

Nice info. I’m gonna try and leave my ember damage implant on a sniper pilot and see if it stays. The new update doesn’t allow for any other weapon type than the innate skill of the pilot. 👍
Thx RuFFles! that is very helpful!! So basically same applies if you only have epic implants, max them or at most lvl 5, if you don't have legendary implants. I've received about 6 legendary implants, (not including gear hub rewarded ones) in about a year of playing
i wouldnt max most of my Legendary implants, unless they are ones that ik ill be using a lot (revoker, storm, etc). that "keep it 1 lvl lower" tip was given the pretense that youre upgrading something of value (which is what i said to start with). i have lots of legendary implants i wont be investing in due to the weapons low priority

Also worth mentioning that you will NEVER need more than 5 of the same type of ability implant. So make absolutely sure to pull all those extra legendary cooldowns from your pilots folks! You’ll have some nice scrap fodder when you’re done, assuming you all hoard them like many of us do 😝
i have 7 Epic Cooldowns, so yea those can go now 😂
What if they jack up the price to upgrade the implants with the update? Wouldn't it be a better idea to keep those on that you are sure you will use

Exactly. I think it's a tip for those players that don't have any clue about implants and just equip whatever they have.
removing is safer than keeping it on. like i said, worst-case-scenario you just upgrade it all over again, you dont lose any parts. removing them all gives you a better idea of how many parts you have and how to manage them

@durdei1 unlike implant removal discount, once youve invested in an implant it stays that way. this means you should be careful about what you upgrade and how much you upgrade it, bc you cannot get those parts back.
by "safer," i simply mean that removing all your implants (ie. all of them starting at lvl 1) guarantees that you have as many Parts as possible to do what you want when the update arrives

Video request i see u saying to not max out the purple implants but currently legendary implant are hard to obtain dont and i dont know how much easier it will be to get them after the update so can u make a video reviewing the new implant store as soon as its out so i know what inplants to not max out if its Possible for me to obtain its legendary variant
@@ash_vortex legendary implant will might be available on pilot markets. Remove it before end time. So that you can finalize your choose pilots and weapon to use. At least for now thiers free implant removal.

in case you dont level everything up to the same level, youll save implant parts that way
