Lovely results, i've done this style but I plait it at the roots and then loosely twist the rest. This enables me to keep it 3 to 4 wks as the plaited roots keep it from tangles and I can re-moisturize without fear of it coming undone due to my hair texture. I hope that tip helps and TFS!

Right?! Twisting at the root really does help it last longer. I’ve been too lazy to go back to it 😂. I also feel like the puffy root gives it a fuller look as well but my scalp will show so much with a braided root. But I’m gonna shake it off and start with braids next time 💪🏼😅

Thanks so much for sharing! I’m looking for a way to twist my hair that is faster but also fuller. This is exactly what i need!

They look really nice, I loove twists too. I do them often, truth be told, it’s what helps me retain length and keep my moisture!!!

I usually leave my mini twists for about 3 weeks and I remoisturize my twists twice a week. I love the look of the loose twists and I think you can later put them in a roll and tuck style to make them last longer.

You’re right about putting it in updos. Gives it a new stylish look as well ❤️

Looks great. I braid but don't twist well. You have inspired me to try. Thanks.

I feel like braiding is a lot of work for me 😅 but one of these days I’ll try it and hope it outlasts the time and effort ❤️

Wow, I like the twist, so natural and beautiful. I like how you achieved the sectioning. I normally moiturise the hair roots when I have a twist like this.

Sounds good to keep the roots moisturized ❤️

They're so chunky and cute... Currently using that leave-in it's a fav of mine. Still on the twist journey, I did large chunky twist for this week

😍 twist is bae. Saves time and hair 😂. I love the leave-in too. Until I find a better one, I’ll repurchase same.

Hi Fortunate, I really wish I had a great solution to dry scalp issues because I have one too 😄. Have you seen my scalp care routine video yet? If you haven’t, pls watch that. I’ll link it below.
When my scalp starts flaking unusually anytime, I know my body is telling me something. I step up my fluid intake, watch my diet ( esp sweets. I don’t do sweets but sometimes I fall off that road and my scalp and skin in general starts acting up 😄), step up my healthy eating game and it does make things a lot better with my scalp.
