Nice walk through as always. Your presentation helped me decide I could really enjoy working with these and I found a copy! There is such an intimate atmosphere about the artwork . Many cards remind me a bit of Klee. The Hermit is brilliant and of course the Queen. As for the Hanged Bunny 😢 i tell myself right after the picture was taken it got loose and ran away. Only way!
What a pleasure to be paired with Claire's work! I admire the constraint her collages have with their strong composition and visual hierarchy, which is what I think works between our two decks. Both are very "design" collage decks and allow the colors, textures, and selected imagery to really shine versus being lost in a jumble of layers. Also, yay for PNW artists and creators! Thank you for including Coastal Curiosities in your video! Also, I'm excited that you're excited for my upcoming tarot deck. Can't wait!
Thank you for this flip through. I didn't back it even though I have Claire's two oracle decks. While both oracles are 350 gsm, I prefer the cardstock of the Faceted Garden with the UV matte finish compared to the soft & smooth laminated finish. I prefer the Illuminated Earth for the keywords, but I struggle with the cardstock, so I wanted to see if the tarot deck would be the same. Sadly for me, it is so I don't know if I will add it to my collection. All that said, the tarot deck looks gorgeous and thoughtfully created 😍!
This is a beautiful deck! Sadly -The Hanged Man card just gutted me when this first arrived - I need to figure out how to work with that card 😢 before I can use this myself. Thanks so much for the walk through !
From Claire: Thanks for your question. The rabbit is meant to be a symbolic depiction of one who finds themself ensnared, yet not struggling. They're looking down at a reflection of themself, contemplative and considerate of the situation. There's also another bunny looking on from behind, which I see as part of the same self, viewing the scene from yet another angle. The sky is dark, but there's also a rainbow in the distance signifying this is a temporal situation, in flux. As you can tell, the imagery and symbolism in this deck isn't all typical but I hope this helps :) Let me know if you have any other questions.

@@natalieartist1113 I get it. I’m really sitting with the card and rereading Claire’s response, putting my self into the paws of the bunny and using that to change my perspective. How can I get free of the feelings this card invokes? Definitely a head scratcher.

I LOVE this deck! It also plays really well with the Divine Nature oracle.
I think that I would have to work hard to connect with the cards. Maby not a deck for me? Hard to say when I have only seen your video with this deck.

Definitely the Queen of pairings! I loved the mushroom spirits oracle with it so aesthetically sympathetic.
