It's freaking ironic that steppenwolf stepping on a LITERAL STICK IN THE GODDAMN MUD has way more effort and detail put into it than anything in Josstice League🤣🤣🤣
Man, it’s so good to see Freddy Wong nerd out about special effects after watching his stuff for years!! I love how excited he gets when he’s talking about Snyder’s obsession with physicality and the Amazon’s fighting Steppenwolf, probably my favorite part of their video
@@razrxo ya I know, but Freddie went into actual film stuff and others created their own channels or had channels they already were trying to start like Corridor Crew
3 YEARS AGO, I came up with an idea to use Marvel and DC Characters and create funny videos or movie reviews. I made one video about Tony Start revealing his secret identity as Spiderman but it did not do good so I quit. This is very hard work. Most people don't realize how hard. As an artist and film enthusiast, I salute Marvel and DC franchise. Watching JUSTICE LEAGUE ZACK SNYDER'S CUT inspired me and motivated to restart my passion. I am going to start uploading every week from now. It doesn't matter how many views I get. Seriously, thank you for inspiring so many of struggling artists who try to go their own way. Individual artists can never compete with big studios because it takes so long to make even simple animations but that should not mean we should not even try. Most people get discouraged very soon. I happen to be one of those people. Well, not anymore. Thanks.
wasted opportunity that snyder didn't include a scene like that in MoS since the question abt Supes shaving routine been a topic of debate for literal decades among the uninitiated
One of the things the higher ups wanted out, was the pregnancy subplot with Lois. Hence, cutting the baby crib she was carrying in the Snyder-Cut. If I remember correctly.
@@AKVisuals that was actually the same exact shot. They just used ADR to change the dialogue in post. If you look closely in the Whedon cut you can see her mouth saying "spoke" instead of "smell good".
Alongside the fact that Barry's lightly and slowly pulling down Iris down to keep the VFX relatively easy, it's also to do with physics. Moving a normal person at the speed of someone like Barry could basically reduce them to either jelly or a puddle cause of how much velocity they experienced, so it's also Barry being careful not to accidentally kill her
THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. The Exorcist in 2004 got reshot almost entirely with a new director to make Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist. Almost a whole new film
The stand out thing for me, with the Steppenwolf designs, is the importance of purpose. Things look better when there's a reason for them to look the way they do. Lame Steppenwolf's helmet, as they pointed out, has all these vague squiggles on it. Why does it have squiggles? $5 says there's not an answer beyond "it needed some kind of texture."
This is amazing, great stuff. The one thing is that although the flash scene with him saving Iris may have been also because of the CG clothing, he's carefully touching her because he's moving so fast he doesn't want to rip right through her. Cool detail among many.
Funny thing. In my family, my brother is a HUGE Snyder fan, not much of a DC heroes fan. I'm like... Couldn't care less for Snyder's other films but love DC. When the announcement came of the 3:4 format HE was the one kind of mockingly going "of COURSE Zack would do this" and complained a bit but I LOVED THE 4:3 FORMAT I WAS LIKE "THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN MISSING FROM SUPERHERO MOVIES!!!"
If the SnyderVerse is restored(I hope it does) the 4:3 format has got to come back to Justice League 2/3. And I would love to see it in other DC films as well. In the words of Todd Howard, it just works
WHEN I SAW STEPHEN WOLF GO THROUGH THAT MUD i knew they would be amaze after watching their videos prior to snyder cut it gave me senses to know what good vfx shoots are
@@darkfire2942 you must not understand what I'm saying when the static shock movie comes out it might be good so when the mcu brings miles Morales his movie might be good to and if you don't understand what i mean what was the point to come to my comment?
The Joss version of Steppenwolf is due to having no budget or time (after Zack ate both up) left until the release date. That detailed version Zack presented is due to having tons of extra time and $70 million additional to finish it.
Doesn't means they have to re-cgi everything. They could've used old design and cgi the old footage likes Zack used Superman in MoS. Instead, he reshooting all like shitty and on purpose.
Wait what lol? It's not Snyder's fault that they decided to reshoot half the movie during the post production without pushing back the release date. TC Steppy looking like shit is all on WB
It's not the first time, by the way. There are two versions of the Exorcist prequel. One is "Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist" directed by Paul Schrader and there is a different version directed by Renny Harlin called "Excorcist: The Beginning ". Same actors, same general story, but quite different after all. Both were released.
p.s.: fun fact: the Joss Whedon version was 1,85:1 filling the full height of your TV screen. The Snyder Cut restores the IMAX aspect ratio, uncropping the Joss Whedon version and thus showing more of the image at the top and the bottom. As a result the characters are SMALLER on your screen in many shots than they were in the Whedon version (good example of that in the shots at 5:49. Wonder Woman is bigger in the wide screen version). On top of that each scene feels cramped and claustrophobic because of the pillar boxes left and right. There is NOTHING more epic about it, unless you see it in an IMAX theater. Fat chance of that happening ...
@@chromaticstar7303 I got a 55" TV. I don't hate the movie. I just disagree with silly creative decisions, is all. Especially when people come up with nonsense explanations to somehow justify them.
@@Jigsaw407 You are the one spewing nonsense here. Both the movies mentioned above are EPIC.

When we compare Whedon vs Snyder, I think we usually ignore the difference in runtime. Sure, a lot of the visuals and storytelling is much better, no doubt about it, but Snyder also had 2 more hours to do his thing. I'm quite certain Whedon was forced by WB to cut down the film to fit the 2-hour mark. So overall while I agree with most points people bring up, it still feels somewhat unfair to Whedon to blame everything on him.
yeah snyder mentioned because there is a lot of flying, jumping upwards and just standing tall the panel needs to be higher ...wish they rereales this in an imax where i can go and see it...or at least in a cinema..oh well it is what it is

In comics HE WAS just a Dude, not a some space alien/monster with shiny gillette armor. edit: Shaving superman with the mirror technique we could see in 'Lois & Clark: The new Adventures of Superman' (tv show from the 90's)
@@ExtremeMadnessX Agree, but that doesn't have to do anything with his look. They fleshed out his character more in Snyder Cut, he's also better animated in his version too. But the look alone was imho better previously. The Snyder Cut look is ridiculous.
Zack’s Amazonians aren’t in line with those presented in WW where single bullets from WW1 guns killed them (without hitting a heart or brain). Joss’ version was far more in line with those presented in WW.
