Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a little bit, Just upgraded to Solid State Hard drives so I'll be able to edit WAY faster! Also, thinking about hitting some record shops in Phoenix for RSD 2019, what are y'all doing? 😄✌️
@@martins.8713 No, I was asking for something that uses the RCA cables and has an output for headphones. I already have headphones, so that isn't my issue XD
If you get an RCA splitter, with Red and White female connections at one end, and an AUX female connection at the other, you could connect your headphones directly to the turntable but the volume would be really low since there’s no amplifier. Your best best would be a Receiver with a headphone jack on the front, or Powered speakers with a headphone jack. Good luck! 👍
Good to see you digging the Needluice stuff. Jace and Austin the owners seem to dig what you did too since they put it out that you did this on Facebook and Twitter. I have 3 of their releases all of which are outstanding. I'll go into more detail about them in a video I'm working on.
Man, whenever you said "psychedelic" when introducing Eldren, I searched them on spotify. Now I'm in love with them!! thanks for showing me new stuff! im also looking forward to listen Khruanbing! Greetings from Mexico :)
8:00 - I've always positioned my outer sleeves so that the open ends of the sleeve and the jacket are on the same side. This way, you don't have to take the whole thing out of the sleeve. This is how I've (almost) always seen records placed in outer sleeves. Have you considered that?
It's your channel (mostly the older videos) that rekindled my interest in vinyl collection. I hope you get back to some tech/hardware videos, as honestly, 90% of the titles you're showing are probably of very limited appeal. Just a hunch, but I can't imagine too many people running out to grab these albums. And, Vinyl Moon, which is a good idea, would be something I'd be interested in if you could choose a genre/sub-genre. Even with 10% off, it's still pricey for what is essentially a "grab bag". Glad you're back, but hoping for a format change.
I’ve Picked Up My First Sting Album On Vinyl Last Year Called The Dream Of The Blue Turtles And My 4 Favourite Songs Are If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,Russians,We Work The Black Seam And Fortress Around Your Heart.
I can't imagine subscribing to Vinyl Moon. You mean to tell me I pay some artsy fartsy record company to send me random crap that I'm probably not into. Screw that crap I'll spend my money on stuff that I know I like.
Hey Jarret. Any chance you can link the records in description box? I listen to your awesome video on the train, and I want to listen to it later when I get a chance, and have to scrub through the video to get the details 👌😁
hey! i've watched your channel for a while now and you seem to know a lot about turntables, especially audio technica. a family member recently bought me an audio technica lp-60. and while im extremely thankful, she bought me the silver version. the silver version is really nice but it just doesn't match with the rest of my house and it looks out of place. do you think its possible to paint the turntable a different color? i was thinking maybe spray paint (if done carefully and with the rest of the parts covered up as to not wreck it). i'm just curious if you think it's possible.
One cool vinyl I would love to get my hands on is the green and black platter pressing of "Does This Look Infected?" By Sum 41. That album has a special place in my heart from my childhood and when I saw it was a special item only available for purchase if you actually went to one of their shows on a tour a year ago I started scouring discogs for a listing of it but can never find it
Love your videos, they are so interesting to watch. I do have an idea for a video. What do you do when you go crate digging for records, find one you want but then find out it skips...do you toss it or keep it? What are your thoughts on keeping vinyl that skips?
most of the music in this video is found on Spotify. I've decided to give some of it a go, and im absolutely loving it! Will be sure to do this when you bring out future videos! :D
I picked up “she’s a rainbow” by The Rolling Stones as a RSD release, along with “from the fires” by Greta Van fleet, and “ the madcap laughs” by syd Barrett
Those Canadian double sleeves are called that because they will double the value of most vinyl collections when added ;) 50 bucks for 50 sleeves... all rightieeees :)
OOOOOO I recently picked up a limited editon Gray with a dark blue splatter of Tyr's new album Hell. I also now own Bon Iver's Holocene and Greta Van Fleet's Anthem of the Peaceful Army.
Hi Jarret; I am wondering if you ever checked out the Toy album by Yello? I have it on CD and I love it and listen to it often. It is available on vinyl in a 2 record set. The cover is yellow and black and the records are black vinyl. I thought it was worth telling you about. I don't believe you would be disappointed. Regards, Daniel
I can understand your desire to keep the Miles Davis piece as a perfect box set, but unless you're planning on selling it one day, not playing it is like having a beautiful car and never driving it. You'll never get to enjoy it. Taking good care of it will maintain good value over the years AND you'll be able to give that new cartridge a good workout and find out how it performs. Think about it.
I suggest you check out Scarlxrd sense you seem to enjoy some metal. His music is a mix of hip hop and metal and he's probably the best person to mix the two genres in my opinion

Just watching your vid! Yo, I'm trying to find a nice cheap way to listen to my vinyl through headphones. Have a recommendation?
@@Austin_2600 there are tons of headphones out there. We know nothing about your music style, price,...
Yeah, a RSD video is a must!

As a new vinyl collector...
...thank you for helping me navigate and where to buy stuff.
When are you going to start making regular videos again? Also what are you looking to get this RSD?
Yeah. Enough of these vinyl marketing commercials. Those old videos is why i subscribed and i really enjoy them.
I like these videos a lot myself but I won't deny this one was pretty heavy on the Vinyl Moon stuff. It's all good to me. \m/
i love you man! you were the reason i started this beautiful hobby, thank you very much! much love
Give Life Back To Music- Daft Punk
Watching you geek out makes me feel OK about geeking out on this sort of thing... Cheers buddy

What are you aiming to get on RSD?

Heyyy quick question love the way you display records in the background how did u do that?
Much love
Man you got to make more episodes more often. I know that you're really busy, but come on; two episodes in 4 months is kind of crazy.
I’ve Picked Up My First Sting Album On Vinyl Last Year Called The Dream Of The Blue Turtles And My 4 Favourite Songs Are If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,Russians,We Work The Black Seam And Fortress Around Your Heart.
Ever consider upping your table game? There are so many good TT’s out there. The 120 seems like such a drag on your setup.
Especially having an Ortofon Black on that deck. Completely ridiculous.
On the Nomoz 751 album cover artwork is a schematic diagram for some type of audio amplifier using vacuun tubes.
I like to see you go record shopping and show us your vinyl finds.
Good idea! 😊
Is there a service that sends you used original random pressings to your front door? Rather than these new ones?
Super Awesome video Mr. NEWW!!! YES!!!! I love Outer Space myself.
Some of those look absolutely gorgeous
Just picked up the fantastic album, “Rubber Factory,” by The Black Keys on vinyl at a record store called Black Plastic in Cincinnati.
Record store day was yesterday, how do you feel about those novekty 3" singles
0:57 - How about "Heart Attack Man" by Beastie Boys? 😀
Someone should send him Paul's boutique
Finally some recognition for Lemon Demon. Neil is an underrated genius.
Anyone else also did go to Recordplanet biggest vinyl fair at record store day?
I can't imagine subscribing to Vinyl Moon. You mean to tell me I pay some artsy fartsy record company to send me random crap that I'm probably not into. Screw that crap I'll spend my money on stuff that I know I like.
You're missing the point

you definitely don't want to spray paint a turntable, the same way you wouldnt want to spray paint a TV or amp. just not practical. enjoy the music.
He’s back!!!!!

Duuuuude! Finally! Always look forward to your videos! Keep ‘em coming 👍🏼💿👍🏼
