Thanks as always, Lime! Appreciate the inside source. [JVSatterwhite was squished to death while trying to add algorithmic boosting mechanisms to a lime green bundle.]
thank you for these videos mr lime. i always read the patchnotes and theres often one or two points i interpret wrong, and these videos always help settle that interpretation. its awesome
Since carved pumpkins are being looked at again, It would be great to see an accessibility feature for disabling the pumpkin overlay. The new map hiding mechanic seems useful, but players might be discouraged from exploring it if the only way to see anything while using it is by using the third-person view or via a resource pack.
god 16 potions (though preferably Splash and Lingering potions too..) and cooldowns being reach-related instead would be so good rn also since it's been planned to be a mini-update, it would be absolutely PERFECT for the new method of updates
"dogs no longer eat the bowls" Unrealistic dogs then :P In all seriousness, great stuff! Love the change to the hover-over highlight - one of those tiny QoL changes that always kinda bothered me, but I never realized how much I'd appreciate it being fixed until it is!
I love all of these changes! i dont know what to think about the highlight in the inventory though.. It might just be temporary but I dont necessarly enjoy it.
I still never understood why bundles were experimental so long! They've always been great imo, and never changed things in the massive sweeping way most experiments do (bein clear though, I like the experimental update system as it is now. It's a great way of getting player feedback for the more breaking changes updates to old systems cause, and making sure they're the best they can be before entering the mainline game. And their convenience and accessibility is a large part of why they work. Not that there isn't often misinfo around this stuff, but I think y'all are doing great)
guess i missed an update video cause i feel like the bundle needed another Player UI upgrade before it made it. one that could be added to the shulkerbox later on.
Hell yes, or at least dims it a level like sneaking and hiding behind blocks does. That way players can move around in a hidden base without having to sneak.
I remember back when chains were released an employee from minecraft (or maybe you?) said that more kinds of chains would be eventually be added. What happened?
I engaged the feedback mechanism for appreciation.
They finally did something with locked chests!
0:38 More Stealth!!! Now if we steal a map copy it and return the original we can hide that we using it!
1:36 That's one hungry boi
Thank you chopped citrus
Glad to hear that dogs no longer have wooden bowls as part of their diet 😂
Please keep making the name for the Like button more convoluted, this is too funny to stop :D
After almost 4 years, bundles are finally added.
Almost 5 years? They were announced in October 2020, so it is almost 4 years.
4*

Congrats on the launch approaching! Thanks for another great video and I look forward to Minecraft Live this weekend.
2:44 10 factorial? :3
It is finally out of experimental!!! 💖✨
patient is the most important skill for Minecraft players
I thought hiding on maps would have been tied to the invisibility status effect but carved pumpkin is good too.
Yay, new snapshot!
Thanks as always, Lime! Appreciate the inside source.

Thank you!
I have not yet decided, which feedback mechanism for showing appreciation works better, but I used the new one anyway
There are actually really decent changes in this snapshot
I appreciate your work.

Bundles? Added? Fully to the game? Is it a dream, am I alive? Who am I?

speaking of experimental changes... any plans on continuing working on the combat changes?

@@colon44 wdym "cooldowns being reach-related"?
Because the combat test still have varying cooldowns between weapons along with different reach
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 the cooldowns affected knock back or smthn instead of damage
man i cant wait for the new biome and mob
Just gotta iron out that duplication bug before it hits live.
Yes, but when are the horses getting their armor enchantment glint back? It was there for one snapshot, and then gone. I’m sad about that.
when are horses getting netherite armour
@@colon44 EXACTLY!
The feedback mechanism made nice effects when I engaged with it
After over 4 years, 1.17 is finally complete.
I can't wait for Caves & Cliffs Part V.
Deep Dark, Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves, Caverns, Cliffs, Archeology, Bundles... all of these features are finally officially ingame.
Crafty referring to "like, comment and subscribe" at the end of this video, slicedlime. Nice work.
Yooo, locked chests, maps, and pumpkins finally get new features!!!

Locked chests are cool
Next we need a new data component for the texture that is shown when wearing the carved pumpkin!
Said so - the rabbit in the end of the trailer was a hint!
Too bad it's too late for Decked Out 2, but I'm sure hiding on maps will be useful elsewhere. Neat little feature!

It would be cool if the pumpkin head hides the player's name tag too that way it serves more of a stealth purpose

Good idea!
Or wearing mob heads in general should do what pumpkin heads do (except the enderman interaction)
Love it as usual. Also impressive speed

carved pumpkin should be able to hide displayed map on map

Wow the bundle tooltip ui is just going to stay like that? It looks so out of place with the massive padding.
