Gday Paul Good job with the winch, just wondering why you could not drain some pressure out of the boom lift cylinder hose and lower the boom ? Take Care Mate
Hi mate. The mechanics had attempted to let the pressure out to lower the boom. They weren’t able to get it down. They have a check valve, needs pressure to raise and lower. And I didn’t want any residual oil on my trailer. Was 4.5 high once loaded so not outside my permit allowance. And it traveled fine, didn’t wallow around like I thought it might.
Hydraulic brakes. Four bolts on the front differential housing, remove the collars and wind them in. Assume they push a clutch pack apart to allow the wheels to roll. I just released two of the four so the machine wouldn’t roll away as the service brake doesn’t work without hydraulic pressure.

@@TruckinAbout As long as you were under legal height it doesn't matter Mate.
Just not worth the fine if it was over height.
4.6 on a RAV 1, plus I have a 5 metre western power for that route.
Awesome video mate passed ya the other week coming from pingrup very tidy outfit

Money making machine that place
Yep, Gilmac New Norcia.
How were the brakes released Paul? Are the an air maxi or hydraulic park brake set up?

It worked. I thought you must of been in hospital 😅
Haha, good stuff. Had to throw a “line” out to try and “hook” people in.
Sorry about that😂.
