Great video, my friend! Thanks for this effort. We grew potatoes a few years ago,in very rough, unfinished, compost, mixed with chopped up Leaves. By the end of that growing season, the soil was completely broken down and ready for the next crop!

Love your channel! I have watched it a lot over the past few years. Hope you are staying well and warm with this recent winter storm. As a zone 5 channel (I am in zone 5 in elm grove 😊) I was wondering if you had any interest in doing a video about how this recent snow dump and deep freeze can affect our spring gardens? I’d be very interested! I specifically love your channel because you are in my zone and you give amazing advice. Ps- took your potato advice and last year my harvest was great! I did red white and blue potatoes as well. ❤

I harvested some sweet potatoes in November and cooked them for over an hour in boiling water yesterday. They were diced in 1 inch sized cubes. They still would not soften. Is that a common result for storing them too long? I cooked some back in November and they got tender in no time.

Great video. Coming up on Year 4 of Carrot. This year, 3 varieties. Year 4 of Potato, and 4 different varieties. (Does onion count as Root Veg? or Garlic?) This year will be my 2nd attempt at Beets. I am debating adding Radish, as well this year.
