Geordie, I can't believe you talked over him there when he was saying "As soon as I shook his hand..." that was going to be such interesting information
Laurence is so underrated, when they talked about the legalisation of drugs, he kept arguing against the point of legalisation while he's not against it just so the podcast becomes better. I don't think many people realise that.
JJ LRCB ye he's good people see him has annoying because he's not like one of the lads and not loud and swearing and all that shit all the time but if you acually just listen to the things he says he makes good points and seems alright
Fantastic guest. I've listened to most of your podcasts and there are a select few that impact me on an emotional and moral level. And this is one of them. Well done lads
I have PTSD from an incident that happened when I was younger and it was triggered by nothing remotely as horrible as what our service men and women go through and it's hard to deal with daily so I can only imagine what Neil went through, these podcasts are so educational and inspiring that life gets better regardless of hard shit you go through 💕
Im actually writing my university dissertation on the economic benefits of legalising drugs so this podcast was absolutely fascinating, let alone the gripping stories! great podcast Brian, truly top notch content
@@uioplkhj wow what a throwback this is. I didn’t get my first choice in the end and ended up having to do my dissertation on the economic effect of a soft/hard brexit deal… despite it being written pre the finalisation of brexit- much less interesting than the black market!
Big respect to you big man. I'm from Montreal, Quebec and I find that in my first language (French), there isn't much men actually talking about their emotional problems. I have followed your channel for a long time, but really grew more interest recently as I started to realize how true you are. You are the type of bloke I'd want to have more than a few pints with at the pub. Thank you
This podcast had the best guest of all guests IMO. Really insightful views on war on drugs and society in general. Thank You Geordie! Keep up the good work!
I am Canadian, so I don't really know much of anything about the hosts of this podcast. i tune in from time to time because they have some very interesting guests. But yeah,..you guys are right when you say that they don't let their guests talk enough. How and why did this podcast get so popular?? Are the hosts famous or something? I don't get it. I found them through watching Shaun Atwood's channel a few years ago or so. I don't understand how this channel/podcast got so popular. Can someone from the UK kindly explain to me what the deal is? Thanks again. Cheers from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
My favourite of your podcasts so far. Also just purchased the book. Neil is a man with knowledge and wisdom in the subject matter, and for a youtube, like yourself, to actually take interest in this social issue is refreshing.
