Cris Carter is my favorite. I watched him since his first game in Minnesota. I was also blessed to be there for his 1000th catch for a TD at the Metrodome. I used to attend his football camps as a grade Schooler and when I hit high school Randy Moss even showed up to work with us. What legendary memories?!
Thats awesome! I was lucky enough to meet him at a football camp in Louisiana. I was blown away by what an all around good person he was! I'd been watching him since I was literally the size of a football, about. He was the first athlete that inspired my love for the Vikes and for football. Even took a picture, which I am so grateful for and still have proudly displayed in my home.
Adrian Peterson I was born in 03 so in my youth as a Vikings fan I got to see AP embarrassing defenses for years and years consistently like I remember watching the redskins game when he tore his acl I think it was and when they said it I felt like I got punched in the gut I thought he was gonna never be the same whatsoever and this man’s comes back next season and win mvp….bro the size nuts of this man. He will outrun u he will out maneuver you or he will run over u. Power of a train speed and agility of a cheetah. He was nuts man. Fell in love w the Vikings cause of him….and only him… I unfortunately had to watch the Vikings Christian ponder era…. Not much else besides AP to be happy about than on the offensive side.
As a Brit who started watching American football in the late 80s, it just has to be that Purple People Eater, Joey Browner. Loved that Vikings defence. Millard, Doleman, Noga, Thomas on the defensive line but Joey was my favourite player. 47 is my favourite number to this day in honour of the great man.
Randy moss, was too young to play games but my uncle would load me into madden as the Vikings and told me just press B. Been a fan down here in Texas ever since
Actually 2 random Vikings were Joe Kapp, Gary Cuozzo, watching them at 7, 8, 9 years old really got me hooked on the Vikings. My favorite Viking of all time is Chuck Foreman.
I was lucky to watch #10 Fran the Man and The Original Purple People Eaters in the early 1970's. To watch those big defensive lineman chase #10 really made watching them play something great! I was like 6 years old and have been a Vikings fan ever since.
Randy Moss, Cris Carter and Jake Reid were crazy good back in 98. Along with Cunningham. Another great player to watch was Jared Allen #69. And then there was AP. I guess i can't choose..
Keith Millard DT from the late 80's.. was the defensive player of the year in 89 with 18 QB sacks. He was a sack machine. Back then DT jobs were to stop the run. Non were pass rushers. More of luck if u got a sack back then while playing . But Millards xrazy ass changed all of that
I always felt both Nate Burleson and Jarius Wright were incredible talents the Vikings should have never let go. Not to mention Cordarelle Patterson. - his speed was truly special. Talk about athletes.
Is there anyone here that knows a lot about Vikings games going back a lot of years? I am looking for who the Vikes were playing where the Vikes QB punted the ball from from his endzone while the offense had lined up as if they were just going to run another play as if it was like 2nd down. I know that's not a lot to go on but I the the qb was Tommy Kramer.
Only had 2 teams in my life....I was a Warren Moon fan first....so i was a Houston Oilers fan but when Moon got traded i went with him....after his Vikings stint i think he went to KC and Sea but he was at the end of his road andi liked what we had when he left so i stayed!!! Been a Vikings fan ever since....and im a Virginia resident!!!😂 surrounded by Redskin and cowboys fans!!😂😂

I’m going to say Anthony Harris is my favorite random player because of the 2019 season
John Randle was the Minnesota Vikings player that made me love the Vikings!
He looked scary with the eye black on 😱
As a Brit who started watching American football in the late 80s, it just has to be that Purple People Eater, Joey Browner. Loved that Vikings defence. Millard, Doleman, Noga, Thomas on the defensive line but Joey was my favourite player. 47 is my favourite number to this day in honour of the great man.
