I love those loud targets in spots where you can’t imagine rubbish getting there, last one I had was a 10g nugget of lead right under a big bush with no other rubbish in the area 😂
Gday Pauley great video as always ,The 6000 is a great machine I don't use the 11" as its just to noisy picks up emi's that drive u crazy if u can get hold of the 14x9" Coiltec Goldhawk u can run the 6000 near flat out and pick up 0.3 of a gram and it goes deep. Thats the best setup on the market cheers Glenno.
Thank you for your advice is appreciated. I have a 6000, is the Coiltek Goldhawk 14x9 ‘better than’ the Nuggetfinder Exceed 12x7, or the other way around.??
I use headphones myself as u can hear the faint signals better as in the 2 coils both coils are great and pick the same size gold but the bigger coil will go a lot deeper and the smaller coil is for tighter areas
Another fun video thanks Pauly and those 6000's are expensive detectors so is the 7000 at $10k Aussie dollars. So you also have some shovel doggers up there in Canada like Chris from Vogus calls them down here nice pieces you got. well stay safe and see you on your next adventure mate.
you have to ground balance pinpointers, simply turn on with it held against soil, if you turn it on next to a coin it will cancel it out until you power off and on again. Also do not put too much pressure on the outer case.
Good Job Pauley! Thanks for doing a video even though you’re busy. I do love Your humor. I’m jealous because there isn’t much gold in Indiana. I get all giddy when you put out a video. I Save them for the perfect time to watch. I don’t like to waste it not paying attention.
love that you have an old pinpointer, i think youve reached the height of getting a garret at the very least, but also love that the fame isnt going to youre head , hell get a cone and try panning with it
Hey Pauly a good tip for you and I'm sure u know this when using the pin pointer if you press down at the tip it can cause falseing, it can happen with the detector as well when Brushing on the ground hard
at 16.56 sure looked like gold with it's very rusty hat....not to frustrate, but to recognize when it's ironcovered...and maybe it was lead ;] Thanks for the fun outdoor vids on quests for Gold.
Good video Pauley. I love when u look for gold, that’s your thing man. Sniping, detecting or high banking, it’s why I watch you. Who am I kidding, it’s your stylish dress. Ok, it’s not, it’s your humor. Nope it’s your ADHD. ITS ALL OF THEM! I also like when your sister is on your videos. She seems pretty crazy, like you, but a lot funnier. You’re equally funny. But you two do play off each other really well, like a comedic tag team. I can’t shut up, it’s my meds to control my ADHD. It makes me talk and text too much. I don’t even know why I brought up your sister, it just popped into my head, like squirrel.🫣 Anyway, Pauley, look forward to your next one.
Those are three nice sized golden goodies! I'm just surprised that you didn't find any in most of your pans. Doesn't make sense. The bedrock and areas looked like it was holding gold, too. However, to have a gram+ at the end of the day, awesome! Thanks for sharing your adventures, Pauly!! Blessings from Alabama ❤️
Did I just spot the hidden mini nuggie with your camera angle before you Mr P? At 10:15 you point to a rock, where in the shadow of said rock a golden glint is seen numerous times, about the shape of what you found at 12:48 in the dirt. Whaddya think? BS? No way? I'm right? Get stuffed? Great video, it's what I miss most about the island.
With such target...might it help to send a strong market through the pan? You'll quick enough know whether there are targets left after picking out the ferrous stuff. I have ideas for a way to pull out silver and gold, but I need some help from an electrical engineer for that. I can pick up a silver coin with a strong magnet that I quickly pull up and away from it. Virtual amgnetic fields might do that, but if not, just a physical magnet in a plastic cylinder among the dirt. It it moves the contents this will be seem. Nice counter weight that's non magnetic of course.
Hey Pauly; I'm happy to see you again doing the thing ya ❤! A 2pl Q's, Do you Own that Claim/Rights!? & 😳😲, or do you have a Stalker or + more!? "Just know, I would try catchum", & Givem some Mountain Style Justice!🙃😉😎🔥! (Not Cool)!, to invade ya space! I know that you have been there before/DDAN! ] AWE Yes, That's it! You're still Quakkin me up! You are 1 of a kind, that's why Your Viewers appreciate the lil Jokes, Comments, and of course the Bloopers from the past! I Love the videos, sometimes I watch 2c., so i Comment after the 1st. And hear it then! I sure do MISS PANNING! There's Nothing like finding your 1st. , Piece of GOLD! You are that Bright, &Shinny,& it shows on You! TC,GBU.,SM.,NZ., Thank's alot for Teaching Folks, and You being You! ✌❤🤗😎
You should go bush hunting in Austrailia. The nuggets are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Id ask around and see if someone would be willing to take you on a little bush adventure!! Yes, it's hot, but there's MORE gold!!!! ❤❤
Hey Pauly, I hope all is well. I've been watching for a while now and never put one and one together until today.. You live on Sasquatch Island. I have a podcast, and if you have ever had any interactions with the Hairy Man, I would love to have you on! Or if you want to keep story private, I slso do a video of the story without names and faces. Keep up the great work. It's very entertaining.
@pioneerpauly, I've heard you mention several times in videos that you have trouble with pointing the camera leaving you only one leg-arm to work with. There may be an issue I don't see, but it seems like a mask mount for your gopro would solve that problem. I watch a lot of spearfishing content creators and the mask mount is used almost exclusively. Love the vids, happy hunting.
It depends on location with me. I mainly detect colonial-Civil war era sites so I do actually dig it all! You never know. If I’m in a park or something like that shooting for precious metals I’m pretty locked on certain numbers and the tone.
That Minelab you have is the best you can buy for small, deep gold nuggets. If you want to get rid of it, I've been wanting one since I tried a friend's when they first came out, but I can't afford one. Feel free to send it my way. 😋😊
What's the precision level of a metal detector? By that I mean on average what's the smallest size of "candy" can it detect? For instance, after using the metal detector over an area and finding nothing, could you pan or use a high banker and be able to find some teeny tiny gold? While panning, I assume you would only do a surface research, never going deeper than the capacity of the metal detector.
These pieces of wire, are they actually real remnants of industrial wire or little pieces of crude metallic mineral shaped like wire? I remember seeing you finding wire gold, so I'm wondering. 🙂🍬
They could be anything from what's left of a nail over a few decades, or washed in or fell down the hill. If its lead at least you have some ideas that it's likely bird shot, fishing weight or something like that. But wire could be old barbed wire or bailing wire or anything.
@@nunyabisnass1141 That makes a lot of sense, thanks. 🙂 I don't know where Pauly is prospecting, but I presumed it was upstream some rivers far from any industrial installations or farms. Bullets and fishing gears are to be expected, but nails and other bigger pieces of scrap metal are always a surprise. Thanks again! 🙂
@@ironshoes1720 welp, I love in new England and there is no such thing as virgin ground here. In 600 years it's been worked, abandoned, reworked, developed, fallen apart so on and so forth. In Paulie's area it's not quite that bad, but mill works, loggers, homesteaders, trappers, farmers and such have been moving on and out quite a bit for 200ish years.
As of April 20 2024 1gr of gold vale $75. Good Job I enjoyed your adventure. Getting myself worked up for a Gold Adventure. Too bad I live in Montana lol.
I think you are detecting on the island ..you seem to do alright for the island..I know you tried NZ and did well ...got to be more spots in BC WEATHER permitting and land permitting that are not touched ..easier said than done PP
Hot rocks are a P.I.T.A. when metal detecting. Also, Pin Pointers are Notorious for giving off False signals when you push them down into the ground like you were.
I’m gonna have to use my future Make-A-Wish here… Gold-plate your K-9s, it’s my undying wish. Moment of tooth, Pauly… Will you finally become the golden vampire? 🤩🧛🏆 Also, Doug Benson has a good piece about “noise counseling headphones” in his Doug Dynasty special, they could help you cope with empty pans. 🤷♂️😜
You know I love the fact that you are trying really hard to find the gold❤ because I know that it is not easy😂 you go out there and search for all that gold people don't understand what you are going through to make these videos these videos are a lot of work and I do appreciate all you do to entertain us on prospecting if I ever win the lottery😂 I'm going to give you a lot of money so that you can be comfortable in your life😂❤ keep finding the shiny Polly😂❤
Dump a bunch of baking soda in your boots and shake it around, that oughta work. Febreze might work too, but then you don't get to shake your boots like a madman!
Awesome video...again! Love to see you out having fun. Thanks Pauly
Pauley, I enjoy your videos because even when things aren't going the way you'd like them, you make it into a good time anyway. Glad ya got some gold.
Such an amazing place you have! Love watching your antics and amazingness. GPX 6000? Dang, I hope that came from a sponsor. Rock on, Pauly!

A true vampire hiding out in the open.

That nugget you found at first came off that tributary to that river which means golds coming off that tributary, big gold
love that you have an old pinpointer, i think youve reached the height of getting a garret at the very least, but also love that the fame isnt going to youre head , hell get a cone and try panning with it
Love your work Pauly!!!
Pauly can slap together several pieces from many different detectors the way Tuco put together a revolver in " The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." 🤠
Another awesome video from my friend Pauly the vampire prospector!!!..😂😂😂
Loved this video. Prospecting new spots is one of my favorite things to do!!
It is so exciting just every single time u find gold I really like your channel ❤
Never thought I'd ever see a prospecting vampire😂😂. But anyways great find and as always enjoyed the video

This was a really cool video! And good gold!
Thanks Pauly. How frustrating sometimes....wow.
My vampire Prospector Pauly, love the candy....🤙💰🤠
Remember what Abyss Dredging found metal detecting up a side creek.
I miss abyss dredging, a couple good blokes.

Luv ur videos ❤❤
Greetings from Germany 🥸
Hey Pauly, the video ends kind of suddenly. Did your upload cut off you signing off? Usually you have some kind of ending goodbye.
He said pounds 🤜 lbs. You give somone pounds 🤜 after your done communicating
He had to go poop out a nugget
Well he did find 1.6 pounds so he's probably on his way to Vegas 😂🤣
How do you differentiate with iron pyrites and gold? Because both looks very similar
always cool to do something different even cooler when you find gold

More "moment of tooth" please
With you!
Those canines are downright respectable!
Hay Pauly like to see if you would like to come down to South Carolina to do some panning in the future
I'd love to! I'm think near the spring would be a better time to head that way
Pauly my boy who do you and the Hurd man always pan when you guys have a perfectly good detector 😮 just wondering! Great video's

What brand is your pin pointer?
Lol @ Alpha Bravo Cheesecake!! 🤣🤣🤣
