I’ve been very blessed to have a Papillon and 2 Pomeranians. Both breeds are delightful, hardy, and fearless! They never knew they were foo-foo dainty dogs! The pappy chased a bear off my porch and tried to bully deer. The poms loved fishing, hiking, and swimming. I highly recommend both breeds and truly miss my boys.

FUNNY SOTRY: One time I was at a hotel with my family. We went to get the elevator to get to our rooms, and as soon as the elevator opend up all of these Papillons start waking out with all of they're owners. THE WHOLE HOTEL WAS PACKED WITH THEM. There were at least 50 if not more. It was an experience of a life time. I was dying 😂
I have a small pomeranian. She weighs 10 lbs. She was supposed to be 5 to 7lbs. She was only 2lbs when I brought her home. I adore her. My first tiny dog. I used to breed Samoyeds, so it's a huge change.

@@We_got_this Samoyeds are an amazing breed. They are extremely gentle. You could take a steak from them and they wouldn't growl. My kids played with one I had named Sheba. She loved them. They don't bark. They do require a lot of grooming. They have an "under" coat of fluffy white fur. It looks like cotton. If you don't keep up with brushing they can get matted fur and it's difficult to brush out. I loved them since I was a kid. I owned 3 and delivered two litters of pups. The puppies look like tiny polar bears until their fur grows out. Their mom, Belle, delivered breach. She couldn't deliver her first pup. It was coming out paws first. I had to try and grab him during a contraction. Not an easy task as they are slippery. I checked on mom and babies throughout the day. There was one puppy who always came up to me and licked me. I never saw that behavior before, so I marked his paw with a marker. It was him, every time. He stole my heart. His name was Cody and I loved him dearly. I lived on Long Island and flew to Florida often to see my mom. I lost my dad years before and she lived alone. I wanted a dog so much. That's why I got a toy pomeranian. I could take her on the plane with me. She sat in my lap during the flight. She's so adorable and tiny. She looks like a stuffed animal. I was going to breed her but I couldn't bear the thought of causing her pain. I adore her more than words can say. Her name is Ana.
I had a Pekingese I love her I Named her sassy Two years of age we had to put her down she was in a bread and she had slipped disc she got psoriasis real bad and she went totally blind I love the breed though but they’ll never be another sassy I now have a cat

Good list, but I'm shocked Chihuahuas weren't in there somewhere. I currently own 2 (one more mutt than Chihuahua, but still tiny LOL). I also had (passed away) a pure breed Chinese Crested Powderpuff. Wonderful tiny breed and very devoted! He had these huge bat ears with long fur on them and needed groomed every 4-5 weeks.

I have my own puppy she is a tea cup dog. And she is all white. Her name is Delilah and she can fit in my Jean pocket. I brought her to show and tell yesterday and the whole class said “Awwww, she’s so adorable!” She’s also 3 weeks old. 🥰 her mom was only 20 weeks early when she had her.

I was surprised when you didnt showcase the Toy Chihuahuas. Mine never weighed over 4 lbs. My girl, Sassy, only weighed 3.5 lbs pregnant.
Talk about a family defender!! These little dogs are super protective and possessive. My male, Cricket would dive under other dogs and castrate them if he felt me, my children or Sassy was in danger. Yeah, his size didnt mattet.

My dad used to have a Pomeranian named Prince he was the sweetest dog and would always give you lots of kisses. We found him one day when he was walking on the street of our neighborhood and he had a collar with his name and a number. We called the number but surprisingly the owners said that did not want him back and they had moved to a new area. I can’t believe someone would leave behind such a cute and beautiful dog. Prince died two years ago in 2019 due to old age and heart issues that came with his age. I miss him to this day he was one of the best dogs ever
