كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ - 3:185
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion
Indeed
*Jesus (pbuh) was born of a virgin*
He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son. 20 She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" 21 He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It is a matter (so) decreed." (19: 19-21,)
And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples. (21: 91)
*Jesus (pbuh) strengthened with the Holy Spirit*
We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?--Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay! (2: 87)
*Jesus (pbuh) was given revelation by Allah*
He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet. (19: 30)
*Jesus (pbuh) taken bodily into Heaven*
Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. (3: 55)
*Jesus (pbuh) was created*
The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be." And he was. (3: 59)
*Deny Jesus (pbuh) ' Crucifixion*
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";--but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. (4: 157)
*Jesus (pbuh) is no more than a messenger of Allah*
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity"" desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. (4: 171)
Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth! (5: 75)
*Jesus (pbuh) was a miracle worker*
We have made some of these messengers to excel the others among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted by (many degrees of) rank; and We gave clear miracles to Isa1 son of Marium2, and strengthened him with the holy spirit. And if Allah had pleased, those after them would not have fought one with another after clear arguments had come to them, but they disagreed; so there were some of them who believed and others who denied; and if Allah had pleased they would not have fought one with another, but Allah brings about what He intends. (2: 253)
*Jesus (pbuh) , Son of Mary, did not say to worship himself or Mary*
And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. (5: 116)
*Allah sent the Gospel to Jesus (pbuh)*
And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah. (5: 46)
Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors. (57: 27)
*You are cursed if you say Jesus (pbuh) is God's Son*
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9: 30)
*Jesus (pbuh) spoke as a child*
But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle? 30 He said: "I am indeed a servant of God: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet" (19: 29-30)
*Deny Jesus (pbuh) is Son of God*
Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. 35 It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is. (19: 34-35)
*Jesus (pbuh) is the Son of Mary*
And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant: (33: 7)
*Jesus (pbuh) was no more than a Servant*
57 When (Jesus) the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat (in ridicule)! 58 And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people. 59 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. (43: 57-59)
*Jesus (pbuh) said to obey him*
When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me. (43: 63)

How to see the beauty in this chapter:
God (Allah in Arabic, Allaha in Aramaic, which Jesus also spoke) swears by the angels who, at our death, extract the souls of the disbelievers with violence, and also swears by those angles who take the souls of the good ones gently, like undoing the knots, untying them! That is how death is made easy and soft for the believers.
Notice a lesson in preaching. God almighty tells Moses PBUH , a great prophet to say to Pharaoh , a tremendous tyrant, "WILL YOU BE WILLING TO" in Arabic it is "hal laka " which is a soft invitation and in another chapter God said to Moses speak to Pharaoh SOFTLY, though God knows he would not believe, and later you heard God saying to Mohammad PBUH, "you are only a Warner", meaning you inform, people decide, no pushing people to accept the message.
Kindly notice the multiple transitions in this passage. Many non Muslim linguists say it is unique in Quran:
When God says, "Have you heard the story of Moses?" Right after it is followed by a command, "Go to Pharaoh..." There is no introduction in this case, as in other accounts of the same story.
Notice the second bigger transition " from Allah/Moses dialogue to the Moses/Pharaoh scene and dialogue. It was a sudden transition. Instead of saying "when Moses finished speaking to God, he went to Pharaoh's palace and told him will you be willing to…etc., and then he showed him the signs " the scene jumped to: "HE SHOWED him the big sign" It was given and understood that Moses went to Pharaoh and said what God commanded him to do. The transition from one scene to another is smooth as if you are watching it unfold.
Notice the dramatic increase in the action verbs: "he showed, but Pharaoh denied, disobeyed, turned his back, striving (in Arabic, an adverb in the form of a verb), gathered his people, called out, and said I am your lord, then God seized him, etc." All this in very short sentences that make you see the story unfold before your eyes visually. Because the verb in Arabic carries the pronoun and gender of the person doing the action, the Quran in Arabic is even more condensed and lacks the explanatory brackets that you see in the English translation.
Notice the powerful description of Hellfire on that Day, "And Hellfire will be EXPOSED to those who see". You do not approach it gradually, but rather the Hellfire is EXPOSED, it APPEARS to those who SEE!, a very powerful presentation!
There is much more that can be interpreted in this short passage!
Note: whenever you read in the Quran the word "man" in English in the sense of MANkind , in the original Arabic text, God uses the word "human" (INSAN). God has no gender bias. However, there are a few exceptions. Read this verse: "Allah has not made for a MAN two hearts in his interior" Quran 33-4. Here, the word used is "man" (rajul, meaning "man" in Arabic). Guess why God did not use the word "human" (Insan) in this particular verse? It is a good exercise, and then, kindly see the answer below.
Answer: Because if He had said HUMAN (INSAN) in this particular verse, it would include women, some of whom have two hearts in them, their own hearts and their babies' hearts if they are pregnant! That is how precise and eloquent the words of the Lord are, Almighty Allah, the Exalted, the Wise.
If anyone exercises inference and reflection on God's words, he or she will become more intelligent and eloquent. G0d promises to grant the person light in order for them to understand his book.Of course, it helps to read the verses' interpretation and background, but the bare translation is still impressive. The eloquence in style is aimed at the Arabs of the time, who were famous for their poetry and eloquence, in order to challenge their eloquence and demonstrate that it is unattainable even by them. That is why they were speechless when they heard the Quran being recited and could not categorize the style when they heard it. Of course, the other miracles, eloquence in meaning, science, predictions, lessons, etc., are for all humanity because it is the last and final message. سورة الـنازعات
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
﴿١﴾ وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًا
1. By those snatching violently.
﴿٢﴾ وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطًا
2. And those removing gently.
﴿٣﴾ وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحًا
3. And those gliding smoothly.
﴿٤﴾ فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقًا
4. And those racing swiftly.
﴿٥﴾ فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا
5. And those regulating events.
﴿٦﴾ يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ
6. On the Day when the Quake quakes.
﴿٧﴾ تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ
7. And is followed by the Successor.
﴿٨﴾ قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ
8. Hearts on that Day will be pounding.
﴿٩﴾ أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ
9. Their sights downcast.
﴿١٠﴾ يَقُولُونَ أَإِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ
10. They say, “Are we to be restored to the original condition?
﴿١١﴾ أَإِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَخِرَةً
11. When we have become hollow bones?”
﴿١٢﴾ قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ
12. They say, “This is a losing proposition.”
﴿١٣﴾ فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ
13. But it will be only a single nudge.
﴿١٤﴾ فَإِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ
14. And they will be awake.
﴿١٥﴾ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰ
15. Has the story of Moses reached you?
﴿١٦﴾ إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
16. When His Lord called out to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa.
﴿١٧﴾ اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
17. “Go to Pharaoh-he has transgressed.”
﴿١٨﴾ فَقُلْ هَلْ لَكَ إِلَىٰ أَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ
18. And say, “Do you care to be purified?
﴿١٩﴾ وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ
19. And I will guide you to your Lord, and you will turn reverent.”
﴿٢٠﴾ فَأَرَاهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ
20. Then he showed him the Great Miracle.
﴿٢١﴾ فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ
21. But he denied and disobeyed.
﴿٢٢﴾ ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ
22. Then he turned his back, and tried.
﴿٢٣﴾ فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
23. And gathered and proclaimed.
﴿٢٤﴾ فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَىٰ
24. He said, “I am your Lord, the most high.”
﴿٢٥﴾ فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَىٰ
25. So Allah seized him with exemplary punishment, in the last and in the first.
﴿٢٦﴾ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ
26. In this is a lesson for whoever fears.
﴿٢٧﴾ أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ بَنَاهَا
27. Are you more difficult to create, or the sky? He constructed it.
﴿٢٨﴾ رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا
28. He raised its masses, and He proportioned it.
﴿٢٩﴾ وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا
29. And He dimmed its night, and He brought out its daylight.
﴿٣٠﴾ وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَاهَا
30. And after that, He spread out the earth.
﴿٣١﴾ أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا
31. And from it, He brought out its water and its pasture.
﴿٣٢﴾ وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا
32. And the mountains, He anchored.
﴿٣٣﴾ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ
33. A source of enjoyment for you and your livestock.
﴿٣٤﴾ فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَىٰ
34. But when the Great Cataclysm befalls.
﴿٣٥﴾ يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَىٰ
35. A Day when the human being will remember what he has endeavored.
﴿٣٦﴾ وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَىٰ
36. And the Furnace will be displayed for whoever sees.
﴿٣٧﴾ فَأَمَّا مَنْ طَغَىٰ
37. As for him who has transgressed.
﴿٣٨﴾ وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
38. And preferred the life of this world.
﴿٣٩﴾ فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ
39. Then the Furnace is the shelter.
﴿٤٠﴾ وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ
40. But as for him who feared the Standing of his Lord, and restrained the self from desires.
﴿٤١﴾ فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ
41. Then Paradise is the shelter.
﴿٤٢﴾ يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا
42. They ask you about the Hour, “When will it take place?”
﴿٤٣﴾ فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَا
43. You have no knowledge of it.
﴿٤٤﴾ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا
44. To your Lord is its finality.
﴿٤٥﴾ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشَاهَا
45. You are only to warn whoever dreads it.
﴿٤٦﴾ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا
46. On the Day when they see it-it will be as if they had stayed only an evening or its morning.
