    This is excellent information and well done! Thank you! It looks like the path issue for ICD has been resolved in the current ADK build.

      It is removing the SID and some other nice strings so that each PC can be identified nicely. ;)

    Whats meant to happen with MDT 2013 is being replaced?

    • @DeploymentResearch
      @DeploymentResearch  9 років тому

      Nope, provisioning packages it's not a deployment solution, like MDT or ConfigMgr. I expect them both to be updated to deploy provisioning packages as part of the task sequence,

    Hi... I wondering how the pre- installed windows is installed?? Look like everthing is ready, the drivers, pre install program like antivirus apps like McAfee is already activated ..and the system information also completed with the computer manafcturers logo, support hours, . i just bought new laptop.... i thought there driver is not installed yet and planning to do so..when i turn it on i just need set the username, sign in option and finishing setting up..etc..as i know common thing after installing the windows it will setting up first, set the region, username etc before can installing drivers and other software..Usually there is no driver installed, except the basic one.what method they use actuallly???.
    i hope you will break my confusion.coz i wanna try new method installing windows instead the common method....

      OEMs like Dell, HP, Lenovo etc. they deploy Windows in their factories, and then seal it with Sysprep before shipping it to the store, or to the company. That way all drivers, and any apps they add, are already on the machine. / Johan

      @@DeploymentResearch ooo... i see. i can partially understand a bit. did they create custom image and convert it to custom iso which already have setting and installed application in there? correct me if i wrong. if that so, you just burn the customized iso and no need the install apps and drivers anymore..it kind like preloaded program already installed during windows installation.👍👍👍👍👍 As i know OEM license is license only for computer manafacturer released from microsoft. mean that one license that can be used for many users. correct me if i wrong...😊😊😊😊

    Can this be used to push Windows 10 to a computer running Windows 7?

    • @DeploymentResearch
      @DeploymentResearch  9 років тому

      Not the package itself, no. To push out operating systems, you typically use ConfigMgr 2012...

    i didn't find pid.txt file in sources.

    • @DeploymentResearch
      @DeploymentResearch  5 років тому

      pid.txt is not in current Windows 10 media. Get the KMS Client keys from the docs site. I recorded this video back in 2015 using a beta version of Windows 10. / Johan

      @DeploymentResearch  8 років тому

      +sai srinivas You can install Windows ADK 10 on Windows 8.1, but Windows 10 is required for installing/running the provisioning packages.

      I'm sorry that you found the video useless and not instructive. Obviously the videos om this channel, that I create on my spare time and make available for free, are not as good as the professional/commercial ones we produce. That being said, if you have any ideas how this video can be improved, I'll be happy to hear it. Thanks, / Johan
