Good review, but when you talked about price of the psvr2 and console, compared to just the oculus, you left out the price of a gaming PC to make the oculus even worth considering. I actually have both, but it's irritating when everyone talks about price of psvr2. It's actually the most inexpensive considering how much a gaming PC cost
Well, you don't *need* a pc to use oculus; but I do understand why you're saying this. It is better to use an oculus.
You can build a decent 1080p pc for 500
@@user-dz3sq9bf6snowadays your 500$ cost pc will run the VR software and games much poorly compared to the VR2 which includes 4K graphics experience

You know an oculus doesn’t need a pc and it has lost of good games without that’s why people buy it if you would have brought a pc into this you could have brought up a index
I’ve used both psvr2 and quest 2 and in my opinion it is way better and more comfortable than the quest 2 and most likely like me if your looking at a psvr2 you most likely have a ps5 and the vr headset only cost me 150$ more than a quest 2 would for a much better experience. The game library is also pretty big now with lots of high quality games you can play

i just bought second hand PSVR2 just for the Gran Turismo 7
it great but my Razer Kraken Pro Hypersense V3 will not fit with the PSVR2, sadly
also my lens got scratched by glass, wish I bought the lens protector
plus, still cannot overcome the motion sickness
The PS5 & PSVR2 together is 1K so how much does it cost for a comparable VR headset + the PC to connect it to? It’s pretty dumb to bring the PS5 into the equation when buying the PSVR2.
And a pc will stomp the PS5 on VR

while my pc gaming rig cost me about 989 dollars ryzen 5 5600 and rx 6600 i can 1440p game 60 or 144 witch is what my monitor can output .and my only cost 898 dollars . ps ve 2 and ps5 both costing you 1000 and ps plus almost 1199

I have it, and I really enjoy it. Great thing is that you don't need a TV at all to run it after you set it up, and you also don't need all that extra shit he's got, especially dedicated charging dock for sense controllers (trust me, I bought it, they are not intuitive at all, 3rd party do better, I could save money as well going that route at first) just get 3D headphones as addition to the console, 3D sound with VR is a good combo.
How would you use the ps official headphones with the ps5 slim because it has 2 type C ports in front now no USB so how would you connect the dongle?

The dualsense edge is by far the best premium controller readily available. Swappable thumbstick modules (with Hall effect anti drift third parties coming soon), remappable paddles, trigger stops with the option for full haptics. Honestly they could’ve made it $250 and I’d still say it’s worth it. Competition? The closest option is from Scuf, and it doesn’t have swappable thumsticks or adjustable triggers, and costs more…

You can't even use any other vr headset than the vr2 for ps5 I know there are only a few games available but I have another question for me in Germany the psvr2 is 600€ I can get a xbox slim. And a meta quest for the same price is it worth?

The psvr2 sense controller charging dock isn’t 3rd party
Spent 176 hours so far on a single game (Synth Riders Remastered) in PSVR2, so well worth it for me, I have no PC. The game was a free upgrade if you already owned it on PSVR also. So technically PSVR games do not work with VR2 but many devs provide paid, or free upgrade paths to those games that will work on the VR2. Sadly some good PSVR games do not do this though.

but please promise me, NEVER get the ps vr (for the ps4), I got a bunde for one back in pre-2020 for $425 (not including tax) and the controllers constantly drifted away, and now with the quest 2 being a bearable standalone headset, the 3 being a good upgrade, and the fact that you need a ps4 to begin with, it doesn't feel worth buying

Never connect a cooling stand to your PS5. It will draw more power from the console, increasing the heat more than it actually cools it. You're better off plugging it into an external power source.
honestly the price for the ps vr 2 is only really worth if you already have a ps5, and even then now you can get a 512gb quest 3 for 650... and the fact that the headset is more than the console itself is hilarious
but does it have a wire that has to connect to the ps5? asking as a person who has the original ps vr and hasn't used it since getting the quest 2 in 2021

The psvr2 is still technically the best price to performance for VR on the market. The other option is a $700 PC and a $400 headset.
