Back in the day, I had a few of the magazines and enjoyed them. When Dark Horse began to reprint them in paperback, I started to collect all of them (along with Vampirella the Essential Warren Years from Dynamite). I really enjoy reading these older comics from the past. All I collect is Warren collections, EC Archives, and Timely/Atlas/Marvel up to 1992. I don't like modern comics, so I am glad that you occasionally feature some classic collections like this on your channel.

These are really fun editions. I used to read the magazines whenever I could as a kid, but missed out on the DH hardcovers so love to see these PBs. Most of the editions are solid, although there’s a drop off in quality for a bit after a few years, but then it really picks up again. There’s also a little bit of reprinted stories between Creepy and Eeerie in some of the early editions, but then they stop doing that. The art is amazing but I also love seeing those old ads again.
@@ZizouZico Yea! I’ve heard that about the quality. I haven’t read the entire run of these, so I’ll be excited to experience that as I read them all the way through. And the old ads and things add so much to these reprints. I can’t get enough of that stuff!
@@TaylorTalksComics I forget which one, but one of the early editions has an intro by Gail Simone discussing the temporary drop off. Even so, as she notes, those stories have their own charm too. The intros to the editions are often pretty interesting.
I am collecting these books, great art, some stories were great, others could have gone on longer. I really wish that we got book length stories every so often. Great video!

I own the Toth one, but never read the other stories. Need to chagne that.
