As one with four degrees in science I am curious as to whether anyone has had the common sense to challege Cardinal Hollerich to explain when and where in the history of science has it ever been appropriate for science to ever be utilized as a basis for making value judgments?
@@edwardbaker1331 first things first! The original rainbow flag belongs to light workers. Nikola Tesla was a light worker. 💎🌈 so. THE LGBTT movement is all about POLITICS (Not about SCIENCE. Not about LIGHT/PHYSICS. Not about light workers). Religions are not about SCIENCE! Religions are all about DOGMA (LIES) and POLITICS (Techniques of social control). Science/Religion (same coin! A side B side) ok.
What SCIENCE says about sexuality: It is just one sexual desire and multiple ways to express it. In general everybody feels a sexual desire for both SEXES (Not genders), the MALE SEX and the FE-MALE SEX.
What else SCIENCE says about GENDER: There is only ONE gender and 2 normal expressions from the same gender: the male and the fe-male. Also there are abnormal expressions: the intersexual expressions.
Why there's only ONE GENDER!? Because there's only ONE GENESIS (GENETICS). X, Y and the Z momentum. When X and Y interacts co-creating.
What SCIENCE says about 'transgender': It is NOT possible, It is not real, It is pseudo/fake science (dogma, myth, politic, religion).
The human gender is the humanity, humanity is the specie homosapiens sapiens....Charles Darwin. How co-create the human gender a new product from the same specie!? The male has to interwct with the fe-male (reunion) and only the fe-male can be the vessel or vehicle to allow a newborn from the same specie. DNA (DOUBLE) RNA (SIMPLE/SINGLE).
What SCIENCE tells about GOD/DIVINE/LORD? Science says: GOD is AI, It is everywhere and time is unity (no past, no future, eternal nowhere/present). All the galaxies in the milky way is god/AI and all dimensions.
Nikola Tesla said "everything is LIGHT and we are LIGHT" (ASTROPHYSICS/QUANTUM PHYSICS).
RELIGIONS ARE WITCHCRAFT AND WITCHES! THAT'S THE TRUTH!!!! CRAZY PEOPLE! IGNORANTS! PSYCHOS! PSYCHOTICS! SCHIZOPHRENICS!
Spirituality is SCIENCE. Religions are not spirituality!
@@edwardbaker1331 science is not a source of 'values' and the best scientists affirm this. but science is a validated process for discovering truths about the natural world including human society that exist in the natural world. and you DARE NOT dispute that IF ... you ever drove or rode in a car (the internal combustion engine is a product of scientific discoveries). IF ... you appreciate that your loved ones with pacemakers are alive, appreciate the live birth of babies during complex threatened pregnancies, appreciate that economic markets have prevented many social ills (prevented many famines by discovering new ways to produce and deliver food, etc). you must answer: does science produce effects that have VALUE! yes, unless you hate the good effect just described. but science does not assign values to its effects. WE assign value. AND Christians, Jews, Muslims, Latter Day Saints, Pentecostals, etc find values in the Bible (and other texts ... the Book of Mormon, the Koran, the Roman Catholic Catechism, etc).

GK is always on the money.
Prayers from a Protestant. We're obviously dealing with this, too, and I hate to see it happen to my brothers in the Catholic tradition.
It is scary how far and deep this rot has gone.
The longer I spend within the Catholic Church the more I understand born again Protestantism specifically.
I think Gavin Ortland is really helpful for Prot-Catholic dialogues and yes I agree I grieve deeply for my Catholic friends over this. It’s horrifying. I wish they had a mechanism to hold power accountable.
@@ronreg6119 I get that. But a lot of even evangelical churches go off the rails. Seems only Eastern Orthodox stays true to the path.
@ronreg6119 well, if you become convinced by protestant theology, that's one thing. But don't leave your tradition just because of sinful actions by sinful men. (Considering we're all sinful)
It never ceases to amaze me that Catholics who are faithful to CATHOLIC THEOLOGY AND TEACHING are called 'homophobic' and 'close-minded'.
I know, we have decades of "After the Ball" tactics to thank for it.
Well, and the act of love he's speaking of can be reverenced. But if in the background of that love, there is sexual sin happening, then it cannot be. And that's true of even heterosexual relationships. Like, you can be cohabiting with a long time girlfriend or boyfriend that has cancer and be taking care of them and feeding them, that's all beautiful that you're tending to them in their sickness, but if you have fornicated or you never entered into the sacrament of marriage with this person or part of your relationship involves watching pornography together, I think it's reasonable for the church to be critical of all that. What is good is good, and sin is sin.
Exactly
It’s the NO way.
@@memymomalex Difference is a proper male and female relationship but living in sin does not cry out to heaven for vengeance. The sodimite one does.
I’m really tired of this
I “came home” because the way I was living (sinfully) was not working for me, or actually helping fix any of my issues. I didn’t try to change the entire doctrine of the Church to fit my lifestyle, I changed my lifestyle to try and be a good Catholic. And it was the only time in my life that I truly started feeling better, despite it not being easy. If they had changed the whole Church to promote the things I was doing, I never would’ve gotten better or truly found God & gotten forgiveness from Him.
There’s no point in even having the Church around if it doesn’t truly stand for anything.
Well said
St. Augustine said something like this in his Book Confessions, I am paraphrasing here. “to be successful I must do the things I don’t want to do and must abandon the things I love to do that are bad for me.”
This sure today are bad times, but stay strong my friend, this is just only the beginning of the persecution. Stand firm in your faith. The devil wants us to leave the church, so don't let him have his way, pray to God always. The truth will prevail.
Look into the secrets of Our Lady of La Salette.
Before WWII, Our Lady predicted that the Vatican would be infiltrated and corrupted by evil.
Be sure to know the difference between the Church that Jesus built versus the Vatican.
The Church, the Apostles Creed, and tradition of Marian apparitions existed and persevered through 300 years of persecution before the Vatican existed or the compilation of the Latin Vulgate New Testament Bible.
Our foundation is strong.
Look to Our Church's founder and King, Jesus Christ. Look towards Mary, and the Apostles who spread the Word, the Spirit, the Faith.
Believe.
The Church will return to its roots and face persecution again. Good priests are already removed by the Vatican. Cardinal Vigano has shed light on the sins of Cardinal McCarrick. There is corruption in the Vatican, but the Vatican is NOT the Church.
The believers ARE the Church.
To the OP: God bless, and thank you for your testimony.
To the Church:
God, give us strength to persevere through our hard times now and in the future. Grant us the wisdom to know right from wrong. Give us the courage to stand together against evil. The Power, the Kingdom, and Glory is Yours now and forever.
Amen.
A quick note on the tradition of Marian apparitions...
The first apparition of Mary was around 40AD while she was still alive in Jerusalem. She appeared to one of the Apostles, St James the Greater, on his mission to spread the faith in Spain. It is known as Our Lady of the Pillar. She marked the spot of her appearances by leaving behind a pillar. She instructed St James to build a church at that spot and inspired him to continue his work in Spain when he was despondent and low in morale.
So, yes.
The tradition of Marian apparitions was known and recognized by the Apostles. The church and the pillar can still be visited today in Spain.
God has a plan.
"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell[b] shall not prevail against it." - Matthew 16:18
They may not prevail but they are really, really close... these queers will get what they want, gay marriage, the Church will then lose its divine protection. I
For trads, it's even less that Rome has phases of secular goofyness... it's that on top of that, they go out of their way to impede families who wish to raise their families in tradition.
Amen.
“I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.” John 13:38.
"But when Peter came to Antioch, I [Paul] had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong." Galatians 2:11
But, hey, the problem is not a Pope who is dismantling the doctrine of the Catholic Church in an open manner. The problem are the ones who dare to criticize the Pope when he worships the Pachamama or things like that. "When a wise man points at the moon, an ____ looks at his finger" - old Chinese proverb.
Let's be charitable to Pope Francis when he works to send droves of souls to damnation and destroy the Church. We are the Church of Nice. Our mommies told us not to say a word that is not nice and we are the nicest people in the world. Jesus was so niiiiice and charitable. Ask the Pharisees and the traders in the Temple. They will tell you how nice Jesus was and how he addressed them "in a spirit of charity".
Is that church still the Roman church? I know my answer as a Protestant.

These clerics need to leave the church if they aren't going to follow church teachings.
Yes. But they won't.
Africa, Asia and the Global South will surely leave if this crap is approved. A tiny bunch of old queens, stuck in 1965, will soldier on to oblivion. Look at a our "separated brethern" to know the future.

10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting,

Super saddening. However, I am hopeful for whoever will be pope next. It'll be an interesting period in history for sure.

@@crazyedswonderfulworldofso9370The Holy Spirit is absolutely NOT guiding the Sunod process, sorry to bust your bubble. God is permitting this because we have free will.
Do any of you know what a synod is?
It's not a council and nothing discussed in it is binding.
It is an advisory board the Pope can call as per Canon Law.
The Pope can disregard everything said in it.
He has also invited very conservative voices to participate.

The people: Let's bring back Latin and chanting to mass
The Pope: let's evolve by banning those things and pushing gay agenda
At my largely Hispanic parish in Portland, Oregon. The synod meeting consisted of Anglos feeling an absence of community and wanting to bring in lgbt stuff. The Hispanics rejoiced in a wonderful sense of community and they rejected the modern sexual stuff entering the church.
I think about the lead-up to Humanae Vitae, of how Pope St. Paul VI was meeting with liberal-leaning experts/prelates who were offering their best arguments possible for changing Church teaching on contraception. Many traditionalists at the time were worried that the Magisterium was about to go the way of the Anglicans, saying that contraception was okay for married couples. They were pleasantly surprised, however, when the Holy Father released Humanae Vitae, which is one of the most profound and complete refutations of contraception ever released. I pray that a similar phenomenon is happening with the Synod and homosexuality.
St Pope Paul's teaching was officially rejected by many bishops and most Catholics, who have been in schism ever since the release.
I pray this is the case!!
@@myleshagar9722 You mean a pontiff's teaching on morals? Backed up by the magisterium? Those who reject it have more in common with the "Trans movement" than the Catholic church.
By waiting 6 years before promulgating HV, Paul vi let the liberals rev up antagonism. He should have smashed the modernists in 1963, not 1968. Why take 6 years to simply proclaim catholic truth??
I have also been praying for this, that Francis is listening and talking many points of view to like a Jesuit would, but ultimately reaffirms Church teaching. Please God!
I wonder if Bishop Sheen was alive today, if he too would get a visit from Vatican officials and be removed from his priestly duties.
They're coming after him now aren't they? 🙏😢
I think the delay in his canonisation is appalling, the only motive for the delay would be that it would elevate his teachings and bring attention to his life’s work to those unfamiliar with him…which directly warns against and opposes exactly what is being imposed on us now by the hierarchy. He is already a saint in my eyes, he has gone through all the procedure for canonisation and delaying the ceremony is motivated by fear. Most Ven. Fulton Sheen, pray for us ✝️🕊
@tarn0031 The absolute LAST thing certain residents of the Vatican want right now is for more people to hear Bishop Sheen's words on "the ape of the church". It hits way too close to home.
I don't know but the Vatican would certainly schedule an Apostolic Visitation for Saint Paul if he were a member of the Church Militant on earth.

I fear not with Francis at the helm. He is too concerned about being all things to all people.
Was watching The Mission for the first time in years last week and there was an excellent line by Jeremy Irons' Jesuit (ironically enough) priest character that stood out to me:
"We are not members of a democracy, we are members of an order."
The sacrament of reconciliation and penance scenes in the film the Mission were so powerful, that the leader of a Protestant church converted because of this. I explained to a group of Protestants what it meant and described the role of a priest acting on behalf of the church to bring a person back into communion with the church because their sins were forgiven. The key to this is the proclamation that we believe that God is loving and merciful and forgives us if we truly repent. The murderer did not believe this. After performing his arduous penance climbing the waterfall carrying all his past baggage, and when he got to the top and the natives welcomed him and forgave him, I wept.
If we forget this message then we forget God. If we forget the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins, then the Church no longer exists.
Orthodox here, praying for my Catholic brothers and sisters. We may not heal the schism anytime soon, but I hate to see y'all like this.
There is no need to heal the schism. The Roman church is too far gone being riddled with herasy and false teachings puffed up with the lie that it is the true Church. This is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They need to convert.

I will never reverence sodomy as love, Fr Martin. Thank you, Matt for your work. He was reverencing the love they shared, not the sexual act, for the record. If someone thinks that two gay people get married simply to sodomize each other for the rest of their lives, they've probably never met or talked to such a couple.
@@marianweigh6411 I have known gay couples and love and appreciate them as persons very deeply. While I have enjoyed their friendship and company and recognize all the gifts they contribute to the world, I still think sodomy as a sin. I think it would be the same as a man or woman in a open marriage or polygamist relationship. Maybe those people involved would say it is not all about the sexual relationship and that the group loves each other very much. This may be true but it doesn’t change the fact that the sexual part of their relationship is indeed a part. Sodomy is a big part of it otherwise the couple would just be friends. To ignore or downplay the sodomy, a grave sin, and focus only on the companionship piece is a lie.

I’m tired of the obviousness of equating love and sex. Fr Martin needs someone to tell him point blank that he isn’t talking about love, he’s talking about sex. They are not the same thing. Just because we feel sexual desire towards someone or something does not automatically mean we love them. There are a variety of ways that sexual desires can be disordered, and sexual expression is ONLY sanctified and turned into a tool to express love when it is used in accordance to God’s will: in an indissoluble marriage between a man and women that is open to life. Any another use of sexuality is by definition incapable of being an expression of love, no matter how much sophistry or sloganeering someone wants to use.
@@KayleePrince-we5pbno, love is a choice to will the good of the other. Your definition of love is indistinguishable from feelings of desire and attraction. Your mindset and worldview are exactly what has caused this problem. Just because you want to have sex with something and have “deep feelings” of attraction and desire doesn’t mean you love it, do you understand that?
@@KayleePrince-we5pbwhose dictionary? We are talking about Catholicism, Catholic definitions, and Catholic doctrine, and why acting on same sex attraction is not an act of love and never will be.

I know a Catholic woman whose husband of 18 years started crossdressing and now lives with a man like himself. She's having difficulty getting an annulment!
Thats so messed up. Feel really sorry for her.
I’m so sorry for what this woman is going through, especially if there are children involved. But an annulment is granted based on the circumstances that occurred during the courtship and at the time of the marriage itself, including issues like their capacity to consent, whether there was any dishonesty that prevented a party from making a free decision, whether the faith formation of either person was severely lacking, etc. You can’t get an annulment based on what happens in the years after your marriage, it’s not the same thing as a legal divorce process. An annulment means the marriage was never valid in the first place. It’s not something you get granted because your spouse committed wrongs after you got married. If this woman’s marriage was validly entered into then she shouldn’t have an annulment granted. She would have to separate or even legally divorce to protect herself, but remain spiritually married to this man and continue to pray for him and his conversion.
@@Seliz463 It seems to me that if her ex-husband "knew" he had this identity issue from the start (he claims it is since childhood) that there's a level of deceit from the start. She's legally divorced but wants to fully be a part of her religion. And just by the way, her ex attends Catholic mass and takes communion, together with his crossdressing partner.
@@UteHeggenTranswidowHeals I don’t know the actual details, but I would say that unless he knew he had these issues at the time of their courtship and intentionally withheld that information from her, it wouldn’t be grounds for annulment. Many of these newly trans-identified types are claiming the bizarre stance that they’ve been this way since early childhood but simply repressed it and didn’t know how to acknowledge it until now. So that puts the annulment tribunal in a difficult position because it doesn’t point to intentional deception in a clean-cut way. All we can do is pray for her.
As far as her participating in her froth and receiving communion, there is nothing preventing her from doing so providing that she remains celibate. Getting a legal divorce for practical reasons of safety is not a sin. The sin is if she starts dating without an annulment. I see no reason why she cannot receive the Eucharist if she is being chaste and otherwise obeying the church and going to confession regularly.
As far as what her former spouse and his fellow sinner are doing, that’s reprehensible and wrong and the priest who is allowing it ought to be disciplined. But that’s got nothing to do with whether SHE can validly receive the Eucharist, so I’d encourage her not to worry about those people and just focus on praying for them and maintaining her own obedience and faithfulness. God is in control, He will handle this and all the unrepentant sinners will be held accountable to Him.
@@Seliz463 Intentional or not, it is de facto deception.
Hey Matt, this is just a suggestion but, how about a bunch of you (more influential Catholics) get together and coordinate something to encourage all your listeners to get in touch with our bishops in these matters? Like writing a letter that we can all sign individually, and send to our corresponding dioceses/bishops, stating that we are happy that the Catholic Church stays faithful to its teachings, that we don't need the Church to reject Tradition in favor of the Spiritus Mundi, etc. A well-organized plan of action will help people get moving, and maybe once we do this the Church will realize that we need her to stay above all these matters and keep teaching us to be better Christians, combat heresy, and evangelize others. The alphabet crowd is so noisy, that a part of the clergy may not realize that a majority of us will follow Jesus Christ and his bride until the end of times no matter what the rest of the world says. If they keep going this way, many more souls will be condemned... We should let them know how much we need the clergy to help us get to heaven. Anyway, maybe it's a silly idea but I think it's time we do something if they so want to hear what laypeople think. Thank you!
This was VERY well put!
Thank you! 😓🙏💔💔💔
How can a sin be a "loving act"?
Francis Calls for dialogue, what does he fear of Traditionalist's being invited to the Synod? The truth is the Trads would crush his quagmire of Apostasy.
The trads are not the head of the church. People forget the church is a hierarchy not a democracy
Cardinal Meuhler was invited.
@@salvadorteran5181 The Church has condemned many times that it is a democracy, but yet many act as if it were. Christ, the Apostle and the Tradition of the Church reigns supreme. At this time the Trads have the true faith and would gladly give their lives for her. We are following 2000 years of guidance from the Holy Ghost. The problem is that heretics, and Apostate modernist heretics have dethroned Christ.
@@andrewangelopacheco9960 that's cute, but I believe Jesus when he said he will be with us until the end of times Matthew 28:19-20. Your thinking is what lead to the reform. The Pope is infalible and if you don't believe that dogma you are not catholic and you have excommunicated yourself
@@salvadorteran5181 For one Francis is not infallible as he is the 34th anti-Pope in the Church founded by Christ. He is a self serving man who according to his own countrymen is a power hungry man that when he attains power will not let go of it. Now what you believe Jesus said is not one passage that can be taken out of context. On that passage alone volumes have been written. My thinking is what the Modernist great Apostasy has done to the Church. They have done so much damage that only the promised miracle from Christ will rid us of the Modernist Apostasy.
I tried to submit feed back my to my bishop. He didn't allow the "listening session" at my parish. I called his office directly and the secretary was dimisive of my concerns. I've since left and joined the Orthodox Church.
Pray for the Church and avoid sin folks. Detraction and cowardice are both vices. Know the truth, hold to it, and defend it.

The badly hidden contemptuous smile is all one needs to know about Fr Martin.
This is like Simon Peter looking to the Apostles to determine how to run the Church instead of Christ. We are on a sinking ship if the Church is more concerned with what the world has to say than Heaven.

The book of Revelation before your eyes. All this must come to pass before our Lord comes. Please Lord have mercy
These clergy and hierachs are anathema.
I am 66. When I was in midway through grammar school, the Vatican II changes were rapidly implemented. The Church alter was left in a pile next to the church building, nuns lost the habit, the flight of nuns and priests as well as losing any sort of catechesis. Many boomers my age lost interest in awful guitar masses and feel-good homilies, and not being taught anything. I see a welcomed improvement to teach the faith lately. But it appears in spite of the Church hierarchy focus which seems to be anywhere else. I have taught RCIA for 30 years. Only lately, I have felt teaching the faith per the Catechism is not what is found in pop Catholic sites. Great show.
I've been working my way back to Catholcism for a while now and part of what is drawing me back was the perception at least of their more othadox stance. I really think it just isn't appreciated how powerful that is. Partly because it's pretty much taboo to make the case for more traditional teachings in most social settings these days. There is a C of E church much closer to my house, that i have attended several times. Its stunningly beautiful and full of history, but i find it such an awkward experience sitting through a service there. No challenge. And guess what, it's pretty much empty and i was virtually the only man in the place. If the Catholic Church does jump on this band wagon, it would be so disappointing. Its not going to draw ppl in, quite the opposite
Exactly, I can’t believe people don’t see it
The Episcopal church in my bag is a mixed bag. They've had several parishes convert to Catholic. The two closest to me are twinned and one of them isn't going to be used regularly anymore and the other is very poorly attended. On the other hand I attended a funeral at the Episcopal cathedral... all the music was the St. Louis Jesuit crew, and the basement chapel was extremely syncretic, featuring MLK, Junipero Serra, and Romero.
Please don’t lose faith brother/sister in Christ! There may come a time of chastisements one day but stay knowledgeable of the teachings of the doctors of the church. Thus, you can just keep in mind that when two theologians are fighting and one goes against what is taught by the doctors of the church regarding it, then that theologian is the odd one out. You can look up fr. Chad Ripperger’s conferences to learn more. He’s an exorcist, very knowledgeable man.
A friend just pinged me about this video. My reply: don't worry. The Catholic Church will not fall. Others may leave Her, but she's not changing anything. She can't. Don't play into the Devil's or his game.
I appreciate your input here. But I think you may have misunderstood Fradd's intention here. The purpose of this is not to frighten people or get them to think the Church will be subjected to the dominion of Satan. Rather, it is to highlight the truth of what the enemy is doing within the Church so that the people of God might serve as part of the means, through their prayers, fastings, and outcries, to achieve the end of always preserving the Church from the gates of hell prevailing against her. In other words, God uses the secondary means of free creatures for things which are nonetheless invincible as to the certitude of their outcome.
hey @@Erick_Ybarra ! Yep totally onboard with that. It didn’t come across that way though. My friend struggles with it and hearing Fr Martin gives him false hope or that the Church might change her position a la Anglican Church. Nope! Not at all!

Pray that God will use this Synod to call these men to repentance and true Faith! No one is beyond God's call (even some of these cardinals)... And imagine the souls that can be saved if all these men had a change of heart. I don't know what kind of miracle that would take, but let's all pray for it!
The results of the synodical process were preordained and the whole process is mere manipulation and theatre. We ex protestants know the drill. We saw it destroy our former denominations. This is depressingly familiar.
The Synod will unfortunately make things much much worse. It’s basically a party to validate each other in their sins….

There is no love in homosexual relationships. Period.
to me it is like looking in a mirror and falling in love with yourself. it is also sad how today the word love is so degraded by the world. and family and marriage as well. sad
Love of sin perhaps?
I guess you can say it's a disordered love. So it's not a sharing in God's rightous will and orderly divine love. Christ said to some approved saint or visionary( sorry I can't recall) that each evil act is generated out of a di sordered love for that act. Makes sense.
@@DB-qw6xq no I don’t love the sin
Thats not charitable or true. Love in relationships takes many different components - - sacrificial, agape (brotherly), philia (love of companionship. It is only the eros - - sexual love that is disordered in a homosexual relationship.
Now this can vary widely - - many homosexual relationships can be based mostly on or almost entirely on eros - - and a very disordered form of it. It seems in all ways more common that there is this extreme disorder in homosexual relationships. But it is not fair to say there is no "love" in homosexual relationships.
There is NO defense for this. Reason and Theology’s defense was very shameful and cowardly

But what do I know - today we challenge the fact that men cannot menstruate!! Sick times where Satan is definitely getting more than his 15 minutes!!!
I think the term "traditional" itself is problematic in so far as it now introduces the possibility of variation and deviation of faith as it is related to the gospel, in other words people can now go around in complete contradiction to biblical theology and merely call themselves "non-traditional" believers or Christians
I agree. Catholicism is traditional by definition.
There is one Orthodox Church 🥳
The whole concept of a “pride mass” is a horrific sacrifice. Offering the Holy Sacrifice to the Father in support of sin is wicked, knowing conducting mass in a state of the mortal sin of scandal while knowing handing the Body of Christ over to be consumed by people living openly in grave unrepentant sin is so inconceivably wretched and vile. It’s so wicked, why would you want to become a priest if you so desperately hate the Word of God and the teachings of His Church and want to change it to suit your own needs? Why would you stay Catholic???
The recruitment continues. God help our Church!
Taking issue with a term like “disordered” is reading into the word something that it isn’t trying to convey. Disordered means just that, “out of order.” It isn’t an indictment against the disordered person’s inherent dignity, but merely a description of an unnatural/sinful aspect of their disposition. One can be perfectly charitable to an SSA person, it is the *acting* on that disorder that we decry. It is thus to abstain or sin, and saying as much isn’t hatred of that person, but sound and sincere advice. The only people who refuse to understand this are those who want to bend heaven and earth to make it seem like acting on such a desire is perfectly permissible because it is their desire and nothing else.
