  • Exclusive: Have a first look at Anything Goes ahead of its cinematic release!
We've been treated to two numbers: "Friendship" and "Blow, Gabriel, Blow" from the five-star revival, which is set to return in 2022 after completing its run earlier this year.
Cole Porter and PG Wodehouse's classic musical is set on the SS Americana and follows two pairings that try to find love on the high seas. It features numbers such as "I Get A Kick Out of You", "You're the Top", "It's De-Lovely!" and "Anything Goes".
Featuring Sutton Foster as Reno Sweeney, alongside Robert Lindsay as Moonface Martin, Felicity Kendal as Evangeline Harcourt and Gary Wilmot as Elisha Whitney and filmed during Foster's run
Breaking box office records when it ran across the summer 2021, the revival of Porter's musical is yet to unveil casting for its run in the new year.
For the 2021 production Kathleen Marshall, who directed and choreographed the 2011 revival, helmed a creative team that also includes set designer Derek McLane, costume designer Jon Morrell, music director and supervisor Stephen Ridley, lighting designer Hugh Vanstone, sound designer Jonathan Deans, orchestrator Michael Gibson (with additions by Bill Elliott) and wig designer Campbell Young.
Dance arrangements were by David Chase, vocal arrangements by Rob Fisher, associate direction by Ian Waller, associate choreography by Carol Lee Meadows, associate set design by Ben Davies, associate costume design by Jan Bench, casting by Serena Hill, associate musical direction by Mark Aspinall, associate production management by Tom McEvilly and props supervision by Mary Halliday and Lisa Buckley.

This was amazing and it's no wonder she is a triple threat performer.

I traveled to London back in October solely to see this (missed it on B'way) and was there that same night - and then went back for the Saturday matinee. Saw Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman in The Music Man last week on B'way. It was great but nothing can top this (except of course the rooftop concert from Let It Be in IMAX).

@@bgworldtour1255 wow that’s awesome! I’d LOVE to see Sutton in the music man. I’ll have to try and get over from the uk. Doubt it though 😂I’m only a student 😂😭😭

I love Sutton on TV, she's a fantastic actress, but she was BORN to be on stage. WOW! I hope I get to see her live in person someday.

1:39 the last note! I never knew she could hit that note on stage. On the recording? Sure! But live? She is one of a kind! 😱

If it's coming to cinema they probably will. And I have heard rumours that it will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray and BroadwayHD shortly after cinema probably early 2022.

What the fudge?! These sound levels are awful. She's belting her lungs out over an ensemble of 20 people! ridiculous. Sutton is phenomenal!

The sound and production team can really make or break a performance ayy. Just saw a show with that exact problem. It got pretty ridiculous cos the cast were so talented being ruined by such poor tech issues

@Stevy whooo-hooo! I saw it in the cinema but I’d love to see it again. I wish that theatres would do more filming. It opens up theatre to people who maybe wouldn’t, or can’t afford to, go to see it live.
