This track is a masterpiece. Can you imagine producing something like this? How exciting it must be creating this? Like listening to it while it's still in the works and just feeling the fuckin vibe
+Etienne King How exciting must be listening to this track 100000X times, as the producer, till you finish it. Exciting is only the final result, if you manage to get the sounds straight... but not the work per se since technically it sounds good only in the final version. When you create sounds you start practically from garbage, and try to turn it into gold. That process is painful and time-consuming. For 10 minutes of sound, you may lose months of actual work into creating a single track.
+Etienne King I'm just at 4:30 minutes now but its amazing already. amazing how this track takes it time also. Really unexpected and slowy melody and emotion slips in during this track.
+Etienne King HOLY CRAP haha after 8 minutes i recognize this song from the absorbed tresor set on youtube. They used a remixed version of the track. Both Are good btw but this original is the best of course.
After more than 16 years listening to electronic music. From detroit to Berlin, this one remains my favorite. I can' t help it. It speaks to me on another level ...
I've been listening for only 8 to 10 years now... I had the pleasure to watch Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig and many others... Also saw Mathew live once. This track it's magnificent, it's on another sublime level. Praise music, praise life. We forgot we are so blessed to witness this level of masterpiece.
Dito ... !!! I feel it sooo deep...from the first time i heard this track ..and now...many years later....it's still there...the fucking best Feeling... magical BRAVO !!!
This is one of those tracks that just have the gravitational pull of a black hole. Everything else becomes obsolete except this moment in time, right there on the dancefloor and nothing else matters.
There is just magic woven throughout this tune. It must have been so hard to just finally leave it and say yes.....it's ready. The best art is never finished, just abandoned.
Still one of my faves. I can imagine this as a soundtrack to a 1950's Cold War spy movie. So simple, yet so complex, with layer upon layer of lushness. First heard it on Death In Vegas's "Back to Mine" album way back in the day.
There are other places, like: experimental electronic music every weekend in a shitty little dive (painted black) in my shitty little town. Truth is, I love it so much. However, I also went to Berghain last year... and it will remain with me until my grave. I began to play music again (after a 10 year hiatus) because of that place.
It's like this song existed in my head and I didn't know it was there, neither would I know how to explain it, but now here it is in all its glory.....
