Is there a provision to change the brewing pressure in Belleza Bellona ( if not on the front panel by way of setting screw, around 9 bars, say 10 bars or 12 bars)?
Hey - i love the video! Have you heard of any issues & fixes for steam pressure inconsistencies with this machine? I have the machine, and have recently noticed significant steam pressure issues, and it can barely swirl a 5oz cup of milk enough to make latte art.
A great overview for this machine. As someone looking to upgrade to a dual boiler machine, this is now on my list! Regarding the steam performance : how long does it take to steam milk for a latte?
When you compare the bellezza Bellona with profitec pro 300, it seems that Bellona have several advantages but profitec is more expensive. What do you think about this two machines? They have the same level of quality of components and construction? I had intention to buy the profitec but now I think bellezza is the best choice...
The value on the Bellezza is hard to match, it has a lot of features and a very good build quality at a very attractive price. Profitec is a solid choice as well, they are well established, but Bellezza will give all manufacturers a run for their money.
Bellazza has plastic and silicon pipping while the profitec has copper pipping. Some fittings are made in China. But for a dual boiler its amazing value for money so its up to you.
@@tommos1 hi , the bellona has teflon pipes because it has no contact to copper or brass. The brew head , boiler and heating element are stainless steel.
Got this machine from your company! For one shot, the pressure goes up to 9 bar, but for two shots, only 4 bar. To increase the pressure for two shots, what should I do?
Congratulations for the great presentation and machine! This machine have OPV to regulate brew pressure? Where is it located? What is the warm up time to be ready for brew an espresso?
It does have an adjustable OPV but the machine has to be opened to access it. The heat up time is very fast, you can be making espresso in 5 minutes. Check out this video from our friends DiPacci in Australia. Now, their machines are 220v so in North America at 110v it won't be quite as fast but the heat up time is still very quick. ua-cam.com/video/XIltmIDfuWI/v-deo.html
does it come with the 3 steam tips? and i saw on reddit you had it in store for 999 promo recently, was that V1 or V2? when will it be offered online at that price?
Is the North American versions of the Bellona have been adapted to our household 1600 amps ? Because I think the stock version are 2000 amp. Will I have to redo the home electrical wiring to have one dedicated outlet of 2000 amp. ?
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada Thank you for answering, but my question was concerning the amp. not the voltage. I confused Watts vs Amps. (2000 W. is equivalent to 16,7 Amp.). North America household are generally 16 Amps. Thank you 😊
@@jacquesguillotte3270 the draw never reaches 2000 watts because in the 110v version the machine alternates between the espresso boiler heating element and the steam boiler when heating, they are not on at the same time. The maximum draw does not exceed 15 amps
The Chiara is a little different, it is a heat exchanger with a e61 group head. The Bellona has a different group head and dual boilers so you have greater control. It also has timed dosing.
Nice machine, but the down side is that it is a 2000W machine, which means unless you have a 20amp circuit or are prepare to pay for an electrician to pull a heavier wire and upgrade your breaker, your are out of luck.
You're asking the question the wrong way. If you'd need to do 100 shots over a 24 hour period that is one thing, if you need to do those same 100 shots between 7-9 AM, 12-2 PM and 5-7 PM that is completely a different need. It all about the output volume capability when you need it the most.
Hang on...is this actually your companies product, from Canada? I missed the disclaimer or that info if so. "Priced well under competition"? 2K is only 1K less than a Marzzoco G3, which is arguably the best single group head home unit....great looking machine but would like more details. If it's not Italian made, why the name?
Hi, we are the Canadian distributor but we do not own the brand, it is owned by VEA which is an Italian consortium that also owns Elektra, Carimali and Slingshot. Also, the La Marzocco GS3 costs $10,200 which is $8250 or 5 times more than the Bellona.
I personally prefer the Bellona for a number of reasons. I like the aesthetic better, the Bellona has timed dosing, it has stainless steel boilers instead of brass, it has a 2 year warranty instead of 1 (at least in Canada) and it costs less.
Wow interesting! I never heard of this machine before even though it's 1 year old. It's a WAY BETTER value than the (Profitech 300) or the super ugly (Lelit Elizabeth). Best dual-boiler option for the price! I obviously still prefer my Rocket R58 "2019" but that's a lot more and the PID/Features are much worse.
A Salesman at DiPacci in Sydney tried to push this machine on to me, then I learned it was made in China and I completely lost interest. Went for a Lelit Elizabeth instead which is cheaper and 100% made in Italy.
Such an old fashioned mentality (unless it’s politically motivated) - China has some of the best engineering/manufacturing processes in the world. It’s up to Bellezza what quality level they want to pay for - and it seems they have a good standard. I find the materials and workmanship on some Lelit machines quite underwhelming
Yeah… not really. Through years of European immigration to Australia, we take pride in the espresso we produce even at home. Call us coffee snobs, but for our own machines, we won’t look at any beans with a > 1month roast on date, store our beans in vac-sealed containers and have even adopted single-dose grinders as a cult following years ago. Our Chief Australian-Owned Espresso Machine company; Breville bought Lelit 2 years ago, and we’ve been letting them do their thing: Making top quality espresso machines, in Italy no less, for the world market. More to the point, the Lelit Elizabeth we bought 3 months ago has been humming like a well oiled machine and never misses a beat. I think we made the right choice.
The fact that Whole Latte Love and Seattle Coffee gear both do not sell this machine (besides that it's made in China) should tell you something. Hard pass for me.

What do you think about their grinder - Picollo 60 Titanium v2?

I think that water tank design would be more elegant if you at least had the option to mount it to the machine.
Who was first with this design Ascaso or Bellezza?
I can’t get the water to heat, coffee comes out but cold

Thanks a lot for the precision coffee ☕
the gasket is not standard e61, does that mean the shower screen can`t be changed also?
It can be but you would need to get a Bellona shower screen.
Thanks the information, which machine do you prefer in general terms this one or de rancilio Silvia Pro X?
I give the edge to the Bellona and it costs $1000 less than the Silvia which is nice too.
In the UK the Rancilio pro x and bellona are the same price, which would you buy?

Very attractive machine with its price, but shipping to Australia is so expensive…
Just contact our good friends Di Pacci Coffee in Australia. They will have it locally and in the proper voltage
Do you think it capable of 100 shot espresso per day, for a small coffee Shop?
Hi, no, this machine is not rated for commercial use.

Hi Slawek, great video!
Belleza or Silvia Pro X, longevity and overall ?
Is this e61 porterfilter?
It's a traditionnal 58mm portafilter so one for E61 would fit yes.
Like PanzerIV said, most E61 portafilters will fit but the gasket is not a standard e61 gasket, it has its own.
Where are these units manufactured?
Bellezza machines are designed in Heidelberg Germany and assembled in China

It's very hard to compete with the value proposition of the Bellona. It's the most fully featured machine dollar for dollar out there.
The Lelit Elizabeth may be ugly, but it gets the job done, is made in Italy and will last a lot longer than this piece of crap.
