Wood cutting is an art... specifically the art of training your brain to trigger every 2.5 mins to shift its attention from screen 1 to screen 2 and move to another treee/node. I miss the feature of MO1 where the type of tree actually had an impact on the quantity of wood required for building. It made it more meaningful to have to search for different wood types. I'm still waiting for Sebastian to implement the Titles/Achievements for Master Woodcutter and Master Miner. Not everyone in the game is a hardcore combat warrior. Stockpiling 400 stacks of wood ready for TC to drop was also fun :)
I work form home so I dont mind having my dude collect wood while I am answering emails and stuff. It’s actually quite a nice passive income and you dont have the penalties in yield like ore close to town.
@@WolfszeitYT Hey thanks! Just got Advanced Dendology and Blackwood lore today. Sombody told me I can make a strong mana food with blackwood and fermentation jar.
Wood cutting still sucks but TC has made it a good bit better since so many structures are heavy on wood. It's a nice way to make a bit of money while almost entirely AFK in the safety of town and watching something else
It's funny because Meduli has one the safest tree farms by the lake with guards... however, no my friend. The golden rule to the broker wars is this 5:55 if you see someone selling something like wood for 28-30g and you know it will sell at 38-40g. BUY THEIR STACK and then flip it back on the market for max prof. I did this for days in Meduli and kept the price at 40g consistently. Soon I was flipping many items on market and with no effort bought all my elemental scrolls without the need to go out traveling or doing anything. Also, in places like Meduli you can put buy order for stacks of wood like 28-35g and then sell on market for 40+g. Just make sure you are top of the list but do not go over max prof or sell tax. Wood is just one tool of the broker wars.

Well said. An incredible amount of hours have been invested in Mortal doing this :)
the gathering mechanics are extremely boring, and 100% require a second screen
What’s Iron Wood for? Is it worth gathering for shields or cooking?
Shields and some bow types or even gmfor some handles for good dura on expensive materials
Shields only, and even then nobody makes ironwood shields anymore since its too heavy with steel

Can't cut a tree down you just smack it and watch a number in your inventor slowly tick up. Very immersive🙄
Hopefully someday the tree wil fall xD
You cant fool us. Your guild is expanding and you need cheap wood from the broker.
XD that wouldcbe awesome tactics. Thanks for the hint. Party hard xD
