- Here is another way to make your photostitch designs look even better! This way is in the manual, and it works just as well, maybe even faster! You can use the curve tool to crop your photograph in any shape that you want! If you don't want to cut out the image, you can use the border designs (or any design) as a template, and then use the curve crop tool to crop your photo! Once you are happy with the cropping then you are ready to create your photostitch!!
Hatch Embroidery photostitch is an amazing way to create embroidery. Crop or don't crop - it is up to you. either way it will look amazing! Get all of your threads together and get stitching!

I just love it! And yes, Odie is so cute little dog! But can't we just remove the unwanted background first in a program like Paint or Corel draw before we bring it into Hatch?
Yes, you sure can! You can absolutely make improvements on the photo before brining it into Hatch! That would be another option on how to create fantastic photo stitch designs. I will add that one to my list.

How do I get the upgrade Sue?
Go to www.wilcom.com/hatch and you can either sign in or check out the 15 reasons why you need to upgrade - there are lots of UPGRADE NOW buttons! This is a paid upgrade, it costs 199 usd for the digitizer upgrade.
If you have a program that can erase the back ground like gimp or Adobe Photoshop, you can erase the back ground. It is a bit tedious, but the photo stitch comes our beautifully.
That's not finish quality , very bad poor quality stitchs
