1 defense isnt 1 hp. Asgore has more hp then 80.
Windows! Sans sans doesn’t have 1 hp. If you were going by the logic that he’s a one hit kill, then asgore should also only have 1 hp. Of course, when you fight him in the neutral and pacifist run, that’s clearly not the case.

Sans' boss was then convicted of murder, Papyrus revealed to Frisk that he knew about the resets, convinced them to reset, and convinced Sans to get a different job in the new timeline that had a union that would stop his boss from murdering him. Frisk used this opportunity to have Asriel keep Jerry's soul and go back to the surface with everyone.
