I replaced charging port and battery. I heated phone by placing a cloth on a frypan and heating over low heat. I would recommend using good quality tools, rather than the cheap ones, (I used), included with the replacement parts. Keep track of the screws; they are tiny and all different. Overall the repair was a success but Face ID doesn't work anymore.

How did you remove the screw near the one sim tray at 3:28 its not a philips head and you removed it with a philips???? Im also looking at it right now and its NOT A PHILIP SCREW ITS JUST A CIRCLE HEAD!!!!!!!
